Automated phone system records that say "I Will…" and "Please tell me…" do they get up your nose.
OK, getting a machine is bad enough, having no choice but to follow prompts, worse. But when the machine "talks" to you like its a real person, does that get on your nerves?
Oh yeah, the machines that put on angry voices. Next they’ll have machines that insult your mother, call you the c word and threaten to take your wallet.

LoL- YES!!! I hate those automated voice activated machines!!!! UGH– I’ve heard ones that actually give a hint of hesitation when answering — or even frustration when they don’t understand what you are saying! I say do away with them all!!!
Ahhhhhhh, YES…I hear ya!
But, the one that BOTHERED me the MOST was the good ol’
"Press 1 for English"….People started to rant & rave & complain ….Sooooooooo, NOW….. I’ve noticed…’some’ don’t say it much anymore!
What they DO NOW is it’ll answer you in English (Company name, etc) ….then say a FEW words in Spanish…So ‘THEY’ have to ‘Press 8 for Spanish’….That’s a piss-poor, chicken-shyt way AROUND the Issue!
God Bless America!!
I’d rather talk ‘at’ the "please tell me" folk! lol..lol…
They are computers that have a sort of AI or voice recognition, but I agree they are very annoying as it’s much easier dealing with an actual human (assuming you can understand them unlike the call centers you get in India).
I’ve set up voicemail systems with auto attendants, but never in the annoying fashion that has a million prompts before you can actually talk to a real person…
