Small Business Phone Systems — PBX? Virtual PBX? Something Else?
I’m planning on starting a small business that will require lots of inbound and outbound phone calls. Including conference calling and setting up conference bridges. I want to know, should I be putting money into an OnSite PBX system or a Virtual PBX system?
And if either, who is the best business that provides this service?
Has anyone been bothered by telephone calls (and hangups when you say hello) from a place call Petonic Bay?
Market? It has been very annoying and I would like to know if there is a way to make them stop. This place is in Baltimore, Maryland and I’m in NYS and have no intention of going to that place and I don’t even know what kind of Business it is.
Why do telephone numbers disappear from the screen?
I am using Internet Explorer 8.0. When I do a Google search for a business the telephone number will appear on the screen then disappear after 1 – 2 seconds. All of the other information is there. If I click on the refresh screen button a few times the number is on the screen long enough that I can read it. Is there some way to correct this?
Where can I find out about business licenses issued to new lodging or dining establishments?

Does Anyone Know Of A Good Credit Card Processor For An Existing Business?
We have been ripped off repeatedly by these crroked companies and have put together a list of necessities:
1.) Competitive rates (Obviously)
2.) Lists all card categories on statement (regular cards, debit, rewards, key-entered, corporate, etc.) instead of "discount", "mid-qualified" & "non-qualified"
3.) Has a defined service and support program for any issues
4.) Online statement AND transaction access
5.) No term agreement
6.) Supplies equipment that can be used with other processors (our current terminal can only be used with our horrid processor)
Also, what is a competitive rate for a MC, Visa, debit, pin debit, Visa Reward, MC World and any other cards you can think of for face-to-face and telephone order?
Here is my issue with credit card processors:

Which business/person/building was assigned the telephone number 1 in UK?
London’s first telephone exchange opened on 1 March 1902 near Blackfriars so a subscriber must have been given the first ever telephone number?
Assuming that it ascended in numerical order that must mean there was a 1.
Any ideas thoughts suggestions?
I'm looking for a telephone answering service for my business, any recommendations?
I’m looking for a telephone answering service for my heating and air company? Anyone have any experience with one that provides good service at a reasonable price? I can’t guess what the call volume would be because right now it just goes to voice mail, and it seems like half the time people just hang up.
If I stitch my internet and telephone service from ATT to Comcast?
Will I still have access to my ATT email even though the ATT account is closed? I currently have catalogs over the US with the ATT email address and do not want to lose this business.
whats the best way to advertise a basic service business run by teenagers?
looking to get people to let me do things like raking leaves and snow shoveling and other stuff along the lines of that work. Whats the best way to advertise this so people will respond. I was thinking posting on telephone poles, or putting a flyer in each house in my neighborhood. Other ideas include a large sign outside my house. Any thoughts on which would be best, or other creative ideas to advertise?
What business licenses do I need?
I am looking into starting a store on eBay selling computer-related things. When I looked into wholesale sites online, I found out I need a resellers license. What other licenses do I need if I reside in the state of South Carolina?
Also, since I am going through eBay, I am not going to have a business telephone, so I don’t need info on that.
Thanks in advance.
I looked into drop shipping, but the shipping costs seem through the roof, so I will be keeping most of what I do at home.
Right now, this is just a hobby. I am looking at it as a learning course on how to do a business online. I’m not sure if it will ever go any further. I don’t expect to make a fortune.

Can you go to someones house to collect money they owe you if they will not return your telephone calls?
We own a small family business and have a client that we did work for 8 months ago that will not pay. We have attempted calling them for months but with caller ID they can see that we are calling so they just dont pick up the phone. Is it legal to go to the home to speak with them about there past due amount?
