Does Straight Talk prepaid service not accept calls from VOIP phones?

I have a Straight Talk Samsung R451c phone, and I’ve tried calling it from my Magic Jack phone, and my iPod Touch VOIP app, and when I do, I just hear three beeps and then silence. Does Straight Talk block VOIP calls? Is there a way to make it work?

No you can receive calls from anyone, I have this phone and I get calls from Skype, VoIP etc.
Hi,
Are you calling from one application to another application on your phone? I will presume that you are dialing your number as a normal number. In that case there is nothing that your handset has to do with incoming calls. A phone cannot distinguish between an incoming call from another cell phone or voip, as any voip provider will terminate the calls to your telecom operator. However, it is possible that your handset (if locked for VoIP) doesn’t allow calls from weird numbers such as +303 or private number which is some times the case with VoIP calls.
