My family just changed phone services from Verizon to Sprint and the service did not work yet?
Ok so my family canceled the verizon wireless cell phone plan for Sprint because my parents were pissed at the customer service for Verizon. And how long does it take for the phone service at sprint to get activated because we all just got the phones as of April 23, 2009 and today is April 24, 2009 how long does it take for the service to start working thanxs!

Immediately. Once you call to activate the phone it will be working when you get off the call. BTW you need to call from a different phone then the one you are activating obviously.
Did you call to have the phones activated? You usually have to dial a number to have the phone activated before it will work.
