If you know how to market it. You can make money but you need to get people to call you to make money. There may still be a market for it but with the web and video cams the market is drying up some what. On the web the video cam sites is way over saturated from what I can tell. It all comes down to can you market your product and get people to use it? I don’t know about the exact number and this is only my opinion because I don’t use phone sex or the video cam sites.
How will you differentiate your business from the others? It is legal in most states. There is a ton of competition out there and no real information on the size of the market. Check the business model. You will probably find out that it doesn’t make much money for most of the providers.
It’s legal if you set up the business with the area you live in and get your business license

"Is it illegal?" is a question best asked of a lawyer IN YOUR AREA. State and local laws vary. Good money? I would think very good. As with most businesses, there will be some initial investment costs. A one woman operation would probably not work well because if you are with one client, any others will be getting a busy signal and will go to one of the other sites for instant gratification. This means hiring employees and all of the business responsibilities that go along with them. If you were successful, I think you would quickly be off of the phones and stuck behind a desk. Now, would you be a good phone sex operator? I don’t know, give me a call and I’ll let you know.
