We run a non-profit using our cell phones. The main phone number for the group goes to an answering machine. Is there a way to have the phone messages go to a website where members can login and retrieve the voice messages through the computer?
Thank you!

I had a set that I liked (now unavailable of course) that had excellent range, & excellent sound quality, even on speakerphone. Unfortunately, we had a lightning strike, and my phones are no more.
I’d like to have a base with answering machine, and 2 or 3 separate handsets.
Anyone have a phone like this they absolutely love?

Time to replace the old! I need something that is durable, not a lite-weight phone, with multiple handsets, 5.8 ghz, that I can program in our phone book and have those numbers ring differently when they call the house. An answering machine would be okay, but is not necessary. Also, a speakerphone is a must, because that way we always know where *one* phone is <lol>
Main needs
Reception through the whole house
Distinct ring for programmed numbers
A nice weight to the handsets
Speakerphone
Answering system optional

10 times a day I keep getting this call over and over and over! It’s a recording, and it says something about being a text-to-landline call for account number (then it list a bunch of numbers), then it says if I would like to answer the call to press 1. If I’m listening to it on the answering machine, it connects to the call anyway, even if I don’t press 1. Then it goes on to say something about how since I agrred to take the call I will be charged .00, and then it goes on to the actual message which is a recording from the Salvation Army wanting donations.
It’s just BIZARRE! And there’s no return number to call them back. *69 does not work for this number. But every time they call me, if I’m not home to answer so I can hang up before it connects, it charges me .00! And my phone company won’t take it off my bill!
Is there anything I can do!?

Hi at my work I have a normal BT phone as a helpline but sometimes it gets busy and people just go straight to an answering machine when im on the phone. Is there a way via PC to handle the calls or maybe play them a tune on hold while im on the phone. Or even a menu system.

One line only. I need one that will allow callers to press 1 for directions, press 2 for hours, press 3 for…., press 4 to speak with a live person. Do I need a system or can some type answering machine do this? Maybe option for different greeting when business is closed.

I would like to know if it is possible to use the voice modem on my computer as voip gateway between the pstn. i have seen several reference in the net that allow you to implement an answering machine with stuff like vgetty. shoulding such integration be possible in the light of this.

It needs caller ID, and answering machine and two handsets.
The phone only needs a one line connection since one of two is dedicated to credit card validations/Internet connections.
I have always had good luck with Panasonic, but I was wondering if there is any other brands that are as good or better.

I am looking to purchase a new two line business phone. Caller ID, Speed Dial, Hold, Mute, etc. are the basic features I am looking for on the phone. The other feature I am looking for is voice mail. There needs to be at least five voice mailboxes. "Push one for this person, Push two for this person," etc. I used to have an answering machine that allowed me to do this and I didnt have to pay extra to my phone provider for the voice mail. It was an at&t machine I bought at Staples about six years ago.
I am looking for a business phone that has at least five voice mailboxes all in the same phone and not a stand alone answering machine. Does anybody have any good reccomendations?

can be used at the same time. For example, someone calls me, I pick up one handset, and another person in my house can pick up another handset so we both can talk to the caller at the same time.
Is there such a system available with an answering machine feature? Please provide brands and model numbers if possible.
I presently have a Vtech 5877 and that feature is unavailable.

What is the best way to record phone calls on a regular telephone line(not a VOIP line) to get the best recording quality? I have an answering machine that records incoming calls but I cant turn it off and on, on demand. Do any of the new answering machines have "on-demand recording" and do they have a USB port to transfer all recordings to a computer? Or would best way to do it be just to use a voice recorder with a USB port?

I currently have a phone and an answering machine. I want to add in a fax machine (HP 920). I don’t know what settings I need because I can’t find my instruction manual.

We need one with a good answering machine, at least two phone units, preferably an extra recharger. It would be nice if it could get reception 40-50 feet away from the base, if both phones could be in on the same conversation, and support caller ID. We will definitely never, ever buy an AT&T brand phone again.
The best answer would recommend a phone that meets the above needs and with which the answerer has personal experience and satisfaction. The best answer would also provide details or examples of why the phone system is good.
