I’ve been on a combined estrogen and progesterone pill for 2 years now. (nortel 7/7/7)
but i went to the doctors and found out i have a blood clotting condition that i didn’t know about, and was told to get off birth control, because it can increase my risk for clotting.
i made an appointment with my OB/GYN and asked what i should do for birth control.
she gave me some options and the only one that sounds half decent was the progesterone only pill. (the mini pill)
I know you have to take it at the exact same time everyday and there are no sugar pills.
also i know i can still get clots on this, but the chances are much lower and i don’t smoke. so my doctor said as long as i eat right and exercise i should be just fine.
i was just wondering what the Pros and Cons of the progesterone only pill are?
i don’t wanna get the shot because i hate needles, and since having my son, i have already gain some weight, and the shot usually makes people gain a lot of weight.
and IUDS freak me out after all the horror stories I’ve read about them..
and as for condoms that’s how i ended up pregnant with my son at 17 because the damn thing broke.
i just want something with little to no side effects, that will help prevent pregnancy.

I recently was contacted by a Sprint recruiter after applying for an account associate position within the Sprint Call center. I was moved to the next step which is an appointment at the call center. I received an email confirmation stating that this hiring process will take about 2hours. Does anyone know if they hire on the spot (do i have a chance of getting hired that day)? What are the assessments like (difficult)? I was told to be prepared for some assessments at my appointment? Anyone have any advice on this process?
Thanks alot everyone

I started a job at a chiropractic center in January, the 14th, to be exact. I "trained" for 2 days before I began closing on my own. I made a few mistakes, but quickly corrected them and continued learning the their way of doing things.
Within a week, my manager began asking me about appointments that were booked wrong- and basically telling me that I ruined her morning/or afternoon because clients were upset that their appointments were either at the wrong time or not on the schedule at all! I thought it sounded funny, because I’m very experienced with the software they work on- I’ve worked with it before at a previous job. I began keeping track of all the appointments I made and making sure everything was perfect.
This week I was accused of shorting the drawer 2 days in a row; come to find out she miscounted a roll of dimes as "40" rather than 50 on 1 day (yes, a huge deal was made about it) The second day she missed several rolls of coins and I had to point it out to her that day as well! This past weekend 3 people were booked for 1 appointment; when I asked who they spoke with- they all replied with her name. She blames me even as I type this, saying I should have made sure that everything was in the system correctly.
She asked if she could put me on probation yesterday, and told me not to clock in and took my key. I told her "No, because the mistakes happening around here aren’t from me. " I was told that "probation period" is admitting fault. Is it?
She told me that this is a "work at will" state, and that she owes no explanation for letting me go. She has several clients who have written horrible reviews about the business online and her name comes up in quite a few of them! 2 of the reviews should have proved to her that she messed up the booking or what-not. Even then, she tried to connect it back to me.
This business is a franchise; I was told to call "Franchise Corporate"… I have to find out about it.
What would you do???
HELP!
***I know I have options; I’d just like to know the opinions of you kind people out there.***
I have called the owner several times and left a voicemail. She said she was on her way today w/the checks only for her husband to show up. At this point I’m at home and not being paid.
Thanks for the answers so far…. not looking too good, but I do appreciate the response.

I bought an iPod Touch about a month ago now, it stopped working after about a week – with faulty software – and now 4 weeks later I still haven’t had a chance to return it… I have been to ‘My Mac’ stores (which are a lot more common in Australia than Apple Retail) and they told me to come back on a weekday, so I did, then they told me they couldn’t actually return it and I had to go to Apple Retail, so I went there tonight and they had to book me a f*cking ‘Genius f*cking Bar’ appointment, and they want me to go back on monday! argh f*cky argh!
Has anyone else had such a shocking time with Apple customer service?

While the girl was getting my dental records, the phone rang at my dentist’s. I reached over and answered the phone and took a message to cancel an appointment. Is it okay to do this in stores as well? These people can’t do everything and need all the help we can give them!

I am in need of some advice and direction on what to do if I had won a large prize from the lottery. Who do I call? I know I am supposed to try to set up an appointment with maybe a lawyer or some accounting firm. What kind of lawyer and what kind of accounting firm. Can someone help? Does anyone have an idea of their rates and why is it necessary to get a lawyer or an accountant, why can’t I just get the money myself?
