Mercedes ML350 2006 Model, How to connect phone?

I have a 2006 Mercedes ML350. I read the Mercedes Forums but I am still confused. How can I tell if the car is prewired and can I have a Droid phone connect to the system?

What I see. It has a wire harness in the upper arm rest. However I don’t see anywhere to connect a bluetooth puck. Please help.

I know there are a lot of kits that can turn any electrical outlet into a phone extension, but this is different. I have a phone jack on one wall, and a regular business phone in the middle of a table of a large room. I don’t want to run a cord all the way from the wall to the phone. I’d rather plug a device into the wall jack, and plug the phone into a little box that can talk to the box I plugged into the jack. Kind of a wireless "bridge" using Bluetooth or something. Does this exist?
I know there are a lot of kits that can turn any electrical outlet into a phone extension, but this is different. I have a phone jack on one wall, and a rather complex business phone in the middle of a table of a large room that is not sold as a wireless model. I don’t want to run a cord all the way from the wall to the phone. I’d rather plug a device into the wall jack, and plug the phone into a little box that can talk to the box I plugged into the jack. (I can’t just buy a regular wireless phone, because I need all the complex functions on this business phone and handset . . .)

Best phone for business?

I realise this is down to personal preference – But which phone would you recommend for business calling? By this I mean I need bluetooth but no other gadgets – I need a phone that has really good sound quality (preferably so my customers think I’m in my office rather than in my house) and that has good battery life.

I have used gadget phones and pda phones in the past and although they are useful, they are pretty terrible at phone calls! Does anybody make a good quality phone anymore which just does calling well?

Any advice gratefully received.

PS I am the UK

Just bought a new Ford Edge limited that has the Sync system. I can get the phone to hook up to the system via bluetooth, but I can’t get the phone book to download. I know technically, the blackjack doesn’t have that capability. Does anyone know of any hacks or programs I can install on it so that I can have voice activated dialing?

Even better, I’d like some sort of system where my cell phone connects with my home phone (maybe via bluetooth), when I’m at home and all calls are directed over my land line. (To save minutes on my cell plan.) Then when I leave home, and my cell it out of bluetooth range, it automatically switches to my cell.

Anyone heard of such a thing, or know of a way to make something like this work?

❤ 7:00am my father starts getting calls from both our friend’s Personal Cellular Number AND his Landline Business Number.

❤ My father’s cell phone was in the other room so he didn’t get it until these two numbers called 4 times in a row, one after another.

❤ When my father picks up the phone, thinking it is an emergency, there is a recorded message from an Adult Video Store saying something like “If you order from us, we are discrete”.

❤ My father has never purchased porn from a mail order, internet order, phone order, etc. He has no porn videos, DVD’s, or VHS and the magazines he has he purchases from a Physical Store and pays cash… And he doesn’t have that much in the way of mags…

(Creepy, I know, but I had to make 100% sure this wasn’t fraud because he used his credit card online etc. so I asked and he was honest.)

How is it possible for both our friend’s landline (AT&T) and his Personal Cellular Phone (Verizon) to start calling people out of his phonebook?

They hadn’t spoken in a few days so it didn’t just “Recall” my father’s number… No one else really knows that these two guys are friends/business associates so it couldn’t be a prank… No one cares that they know each other.

Was he hacked?

What is stumping us is that it was both his landline AND his cellular.

I told him to change ALLL his passwords… Even those unrelated to his phones… and to disable Bluetooth on his phone(s).

Any ideas?

I need a new cell phone that can take a beating and keep on working. It needs to have bluetooth and a camera and any other features would be great. It must work with at&t (cingular). I’ve heard there are some phones that are waterproof and impact resistant. I really like Nokia phones more than anything but I’m open to suggestions.

My house is wired to have a land-line phone system, but I am not subscribed to one. I get reception for my phone all through my house, but I don’t like carrying my phone with me everywhere. I would like to be able to sync my phone (over bluetooth) to some kind of adapter which would allow me to use my house phones to answer my cell phone. Do they make something like this?
