I need to edit a business logo that’s in a tif file. So I am looking for a software that could both edit tif files and also come up with a great looking business cards, promotional refrigerator magnets, and brochures. It has to be user-friendly! Thanks in advance for your advice.
Our office has over 100 employees. I need a business card scanner that will allow anyone to scan their business cards without worrying about acquiring new software serial number to scan.
I bought a the CardScan Personnel but has two options: 1) only i can use it 2) anyone using this pc.
Thus, it limits the options. I need it for everyone can use when they need it.
Where can i find a scanner that will allow multiple users to use it?
The is is a debt collection company. I received an email from them saying that they had gotten my resume from careerbuilder and that they would like to interview me for an Account Executive’s position. The first couple of interviews were within groups. The final interview was over the phone. The guy told me that I would have to pay 0 to have business cards printed up. If I’m interested in the position, I have to complete and submit a ‘letter of commitment’ along with a ‘letter of qualifications’. I would have one week of training, at my own expense, I will not get paid while in training. Does this sound like a scam job?
Raymond Stubbs Jr. had driven Yellow Cabs in Boise, Idaho, for years. In 1995, he borrowed 1,000, and bought the Yellow Cab franchise. At the time, the company had about two dozen taxis, representing roughly half of Boise’s total. Most were owned by drivers who paid Stubbs about 0 a week per vehicle for dispatch service.
Stubbs personally is a strong believer in customer service. He decided to make that a key element of his new business. “If you don’t have the service, you aren’t going to make it, “he says. Stubbs urged his drivers to cultivate “personals”-regular customers who request the same driver each time. And responding to Stubbs’s motto of creating passengers “as good as gold,” his drivers bought their own cell phones to answers passengers’ calls directly and distributed business cards listing their individual cell phone numbers.
Meanwhile, to increase business, Stubbs was selling discounted vouchers to customers. Unfortunately, he failed to do the math. Both he and his drivers lost money on the voucher system. This created animosities toward Stubbs by the drivers.
The final blow came in April 1997. To cut costs, Stubbs ceased offering his dispatch service to those yellow Cabs he didn’t own. In response, exiled drivers went solo, joined rivals, or expanded their fleets and split off to create their own separate firms. And having followed Stubbs’s dictate to build strong loyalties with their passengers, most customers went with the renegade drivers.
Facing greater competition and decimated fleet, Stubbs now found it harder to deliver his first-rate service. “He ruined the customer relationship,” said one knowledge observer. “The name Yellow Cab became a dirty name.”
In October 1997, faced with high fixed costs and a decimated fleet, Stubbs dissolved the company and filed for bankruptcy.
I live in a seasonal community, and besides calling customers when they are due for upgrades….what can I do or put in my store to attract more business. For example should I put a coffee machine in the store? The store is always clean and yes I hand out business cards regularly, I just want the winter business to pick up a bit. In the summer the amount of people greatly increases the amount of sales. Any adivce/tips/ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

I am starting my own business and need to get some business cards. My computer is messed up so I cannot buy/download any software. This being a new business-funds are low. The only "graphics" I want is PRS with the "S" having a straight line on the bottom and have it come across to underline the other letters. I also would like some input on what colors would go together well?
I do IT work, for work I am a NOC (network operations center) admin common name for these type of places (data centers)
I specialize in networks, networking. I have a lot of knowledge of hardware/software and programming. In my spare time, I fix a lot of systems for cheap, almost too cheap I feel but the jobs are so easy and quick and places like best buy would charge around 250-300.00 for common, myself, I just really want a 100.00 but I might be cutting myself short but this is not what I am asking. I needed to explain what I know, what I do so you can help me create this card.
I bought the white two side clean edge business cards from Avery.
On the card, I just list my name,
name.last
IT Specialist
Hardware.Software.Networking
Name again
Phone #
Email
The area that bugs me is what I listed below, trying to keep it simple. I don’t have the webpage up yet so the next set of cards will be modified, I was thinking of adding some more details on the back of the card but don’t know what to list, can you please help me.

I have worked in the Accounting field for 9 years. I have been an Accounting Specialist, Staff Accountant, and Controller. I have already developed a website for my business, have a business phone, and business cards. But that’s where it ends. I’ve been researching rates here and elsewhere online and I have a fairly good idea of what to charge.
Is it possible to partner with local CPAs to get clients for my business?
Business Card Scanning – Does anyone know to use use a regular scanner with special software to scan business cards? I don’t understand why I need to buy yet another scanner just for business cards.
Obviously, I need to clarify my question. Business cards need to be scanned to be imported into Outlook or other PIMs.
I already have a scanner and a ton of business cards. I do NOT want to buy a business card reader but instead use my existing scanner. I want the software to organize the info into some type of database, also I want to be able to use it across our network in the office. Anything you recommend?

I work along side a hired attorney, and I negotiate and find prospects for opportunity for the three parties involved. Attorney/Myself/Our Client. Of course we do seek minimal profit, but what we do is help them get title to a house, and they can pay us much later down the road (With a T.Deed) or we find a way to sell/settle the estate. The people I send business cards to are extremely limited, and have a short attention span, (not to be mean, I just work in extremely odd scenarios) and they’ve kind of fell into a little luck with me finding them. Thanks for your help, if you could copy/paste the way you think it should look that would be great! Thank you =]
