We changed our business phone number months ago and the old number is still on a ton of websites like google, mapquest, yahoomaps, hotfrog…..i logged into my account on a few of the sites and changed the number, but there are many more and some I cant even figure out how to edit it. Is there an easy way to change the phone number on all sites?

Basically if I have a plan that allows 1000 minutes a month, and I want to dial a business phone number, for instance a 1-800 or 1-888 or 1-866, are the minutes I talk to the business being taken from my 1000 a month? Or is it not because it is a toll free phone number? I have a Blackberry Bold, on AT&T… Any help would be great!

I have been having strange calls from a blocked phone number on my cell phone. I do not want to change te number because it is my business phone number. What could I do? I haven’t been picking up but it is at all times a nighht and day. It’s becoming a nuisance

Business phone number on credit card application?

On a credit card application I’m filling out, they are asking for my business phone number as part of my employment details. Do they actually call at work? What kinds of things would they ask?

Hello! I am trying to get phone numbers for our business but I don’t quite want to have my business phone number listed quite yet. I expect after a year of business I would like to transition over to having a location and business number but… 1) Can I port my number over if my new location is in a commercial location 2) Can I list my residential or cell phone number in the Yellow Pages or Dex business section?

How can I access a British phone directory?

Not sure which town/city specifically, but would probably start looking in London — but may need other cities too. Trying to look up a business phone number so I can attempt to call them.

Is there any way to find this information online?

I don’t know how we’re going to set this up yet, but we need a business phone number for our company. The problem is nobody will be around during the day to answer any of the calls so we’d like to have something forward it to all of our mobile numbers until somebody picks the call up first.

I’m thinking I can get the phone service from vonage and just keep it at my house or wherever and maybe there’s some kind of PC software I can use to forward it? I don’t know too much about this kind of stuff. Would I need VoIP to do this? Any recommendations? I saw skype has call forwarding to multiple numbers exactly like i’m talking about, but I don’t know if thats even possible to setup with any number like that.

Thanks guys

How to establish a virtual phone number?

I’s like to set up a separate virtual business phone number and have all the phones to be directed to my home phone number. Is there such services?

I have used my business phone number for over 7 years and it is on every piece of marketing I have given to my clients over the past 7 years. I am moving offices from Encino (Los Angeles) to Woodland Hills (Los Angeles) which is 15 miles or so away. However, based on my discussion with our phone person, since we are moving from one call center to the next, I can not keep the number. I can forward the number indefinitely but I will have to pay for two or three paths to make sure that when one person calls and I am on the line with him/her, the second caller doesn’t hear a busy signal. I don’t want to pay 2-3 paths, which will cost me as much as a phone line. How do I get around this arcane restriction.? Thank you in advance.

I have a home business phone number. I am moving locally and want to keep my phone number. I do not want to have a dedicated line for my phone number anymore. I would prefer to have the calls forwarded to my cell phone. How do I do this?

where can i list my business phone number?

please give me a listed of companies and directories i can list my business phone number

I’m now using my cell phone for business purposes, which means I use a LOT more minutes than I used to during peak hours. I use Google Voice as a business phone number and I set up Verizon Friends and Family with my Google Voice number so I can get unlimited outgoing and incoming calls without using my minutes. (I set it up so that all calls to my GV number display the GV number and I get caller ID by voice when I pick up the phone. I can also call out using the GV website on my phone or GVDialer or similar applications which call to the Google Voice number.)

Another option is to have a system with unlimited incoming calls but pay for outgoing, since if I make outgoing calls through the mobile web the system dials into my phone and then connects me, so it’s charged as an incoming call.

The problem with Verizon is that I had to upgrade to a more expensive plan in order to use Friends and Family. With the cheaper plan, I went over my minutes. So now I’m looking for a new option.

I need something with unlimited mobile web, since I use my phone for e-mail and other web purposes and I need a reliable carrier. Any suggestions?
