I use Skype as my business phone to make and receive calls to or from anywhere, not just computer to computer. I need this to be a quality product for daily use. Possibly one that can hold a charge for a bit, or that is quick to answer from charger.
Or your best suggestion for a corded headset.

If so, are you happy with it? Can you receive calls from landlines or mobile #’s ( I know that you are able to with it but do you personally use it yourself? Can you make it where people can’t see you? Just wondering, I am trying to figure out my best option for a business phone.

I’m looking to narrow it down to a device compatible with the following line up:
Available to Consumers in the United States
It must:
Be light-weight & portable
Have an extensive amount of battery life- both on stand-by and during calls
Professional Features such as a planner/calendar, calculation features, and an alert/alarm system
Speaker Phone, Memory Card, and any other add ins are preferred.
I’ll take all if any bells and whistles, but *REMEMBER*
This is a business phone. I’m not looking for messaging of any sort.
. . . . . . . . .World Roaming, Bluetooth, Wi-fi, and High-speed Data are all preferred.
If it helps, http://www.phonescoop.com/phones/finder.php allowed me to find a couple, but I’m looking to compare.
I know you’ll have a great turn out, but just do me a favor and let me know what you find.

I own a fast food restaurant and my 60+ employees all feel the need to use my business phone to place personal phone calls. Is there a device that will require a passcode or PIN number to dial out but allow business-related calls in without an issue?

I am from India and right now looking to buy a smartphone (mobile) which has all the latest options.
N8: which runs on Symbian platform (Nokia has recently partnered with Microsoft for its operating system and would be producing mobile on that platform effective from 2012)
Sony Xperia X10: I liked the phone but it does not have secondary camera as a result of that it does not support 3G
Samsung Galaxy S2: New handset which has all the features…
I am not looking for blackberry it is a pure business phone
Please suggest which one i should consider and why. Also suggested any other model number i can look for.

I have 2 cell phones, one I use for all business calls and the other is personal. I called my cell phone company to have my personal number changed. Instead of closing that number and giving me a new number my business number was deleted. And now are telling me that they cannot possibly give me my business number back. My business is my soul source of income and my clients contact me primaryly by phone or email. Can I sue this phone company, since they have completely taken away my source of income. Not to mention, I just took out a 00 telephone book ad with my business phone. Someone please give me advice on how to handle this.

I know there are a lot of kits that can turn any electrical outlet into a phone extension, but this is different. I have a phone jack on one wall, and a regular business phone in the middle of a table of a large room. I don’t want to run a cord all the way from the wall to the phone. I’d rather plug a device into the wall jack, and plug the phone into a little box that can talk to the box I plugged into the jack. Kind of a wireless "bridge" using Bluetooth or something. Does this exist?
I know there are a lot of kits that can turn any electrical outlet into a phone extension, but this is different. I have a phone jack on one wall, and a rather complex business phone in the middle of a table of a large room that is not sold as a wireless model. I don’t want to run a cord all the way from the wall to the phone. I’d rather plug a device into the wall jack, and plug the phone into a little box that can talk to the box I plugged into the jack. Kind of a wireless "bridge" using Bluetooth or something. Does this exist? (I can’t just buy a regular wireless phone, because I need all the complex functions on this business phone and handset . . .)

Is Droid a good business phone? (If so which one?: Droid, Droid 2, Droid X, Droid Pro)
If it is a good business phone, why? What are the benefits of using it as a business phone?

A number called my phone and I want to know where the number came from. For example: Did it come from a cell phone, a pay phone, a house phone, or a business phone.

I was wondering if there is any way to make your home phone like a business phone where if you call it it gives you different numbers to press to connect to different people. Like press 1 for person number 1 press 2 for person 2 press 3 for person 3 and have it transfer to their cell phones.

I’m looking for a good/affordable business phone from verizon without a monthly internet fee. Do all the business phones require a monthly fee for internet? is there any way to get a blackberry w/o activating the internet?
