Text usage rates have obviously been increasing each year, but what does this actually mean for the wireless telecommunications industry as a whole? Specifically in Canada

My friend is trying rent a place in Canada and since she is an international student she doesnt have a credit card in Canada. She opened a bank account recently and the landlord is asking to do a 3 way calling to the bank to ask questions. Is this normal, should she go ahead with it? She already gave the landlord information about her bank and credit card in her home country but those are in a foreign language and I guess they dont mean much to the landlord. Any advice?

I looked at my bill for this month’s billing cycle and have a call made to Canada for a few hours that I never made. How do I prove to them it wasn’t me who made the call? Do phone companies record phone calls? If so, how long do they keep the records? This is a landline, keep in mind, not a cellphone.

My fiancee calls her family in Brazil from the states, and right now she needs to buy a phone card all the time (sometimes 10 times a month) so she can keep tricking her cell phone into thinking it’s calling a toll-free 1-800 number. That sounds pricey, but if she simply dialed Brazil on her cell, it would be WAY worse for how often and how long she talks.
I have heard about internet phones that make calls to regular land line numbers for low monthly rates. When I check into companies like Skype, I see the phrase "to the U.S. and Canada" all over the place.
What is the best company and plan to go with for the cheapest possible (hopefully unlimited, one low monthly fee) calls to Brazil?
I’m aware of that, first answerer. We’re not going to trade in our cell phones or anything.

I am looking at getting quite a few numbers in Canada for call forwarding, are there any that are FREE or cost UNDER 5 USD? I know Callcentric is 5 dollar loading fee, and that is the cheapest I have found. I am looking at having the phone numbers for less than 30 days. If anyone can help me out!?!?
The person who knows the cheapest AND easiest service for multiple numbers will get best answer ASAP.
Thanks!

I work at home for a call center, selling clothing and such. They say my sales are not high enough because I am not outgoing enough, I was wondering, since I work at home do you think I could record my voice on a voice recorder saying my sales and being all upbeat and happy and that way I get higher sales? I say the same things to every customer so it’s repetitive, I just can’t be energetic with every customer, this way I can be! Do you think customers would notice? I mean they order what they want, then I go on my speel about what’s on sale and what not. Same items for every customer. I would just hold the recorder to my microphone and press play when it’s time to offer my sales.. I think it would work, do you?:)
i’m not a telemarketer, people call me to place orders, like sears… and i’m in canada so we don’t have the same laws
