Hi i own an electronics repair store that specializes in cell phones and gaming systems, and we just opened about a month ago, and business is been doing pretty good, but i would like 2 things to really get in gear and investor and a guy who is great with software and electronic savvy, the only thing is we’re so new even if i could show how profitable my concept is they would still be hesitant so I’m not holding my breath, but i would really like the software guy, only problem is we’re not to the point were we have that kind of money for payroll. so my question so I look for someone and offer them a partnership? or should i just keep doing what I’m doing and wait until we have the money to hire someone? I just want to get my concept up and going in full swing and I wanna get there before the competition does. any advice is appreciated. thanks in advance.

I would rather buy anolder sidekick for under and see if I like it rather than blow the whole wad on a new one. Im surprised you dont see huge numbers of cell phones being sold at flea markets

I need to figure out how to call back to the US from India as well as to Mexico from India. I have seen some plans but they do not allow calls to cell phones, any ideas?
…………I have heard Skype is unreliable, the majority of if not all calls I make will be to Cell phones from what I have seen Skype wont work calling to cell phones, am I correct in my assumption?

My cell phone was stolen so I called this place that buys cell phones for cash. I asked them if they checked the serial number on the phone to see whether or not it was stolen before buying the phone. The guy told me they still buy the phone if it is stolen, and they re-sell the phone as "flashable." Is this illegal?

Ok I have an electronics repair store. Cell phones,computer,gaming systems etc.. and I’m trying to figure out what hours would be best for me and the customers? I was think Mon-sat 9am to 7pm and sun 1pm to 5pm? What do you think? As a side note my compitetion is open from 10-6pm mon-sat and closed on sun. So any opinions are welcome and thanks in advance!

So I am being deployed and I am wondering about skype, it will work anywhere there is internet computer to computer correct? My question is about the skype phone numbers. There is 21 countries on the list for the skype phone numbers but my question is, does the country you are calling from need to be on the list, or just the one you are calling to, or both? Because it would be nice to be able to call cell phones from my computer but the country I am going to isn’t on the list.
If thats the case that it works the same anywhere what is the list of countries about…

Looking for a headset with a cord, NOT wireless. To be used with my cell phone. My main issue is safety from radiation. I have heard that there are cell phones which could really be called "air-tubes". Any ideas on the safest headset, or companies I could go to.

Im 17 and starting to think what I want to do with my life. Ive always been good at selling stuff and I havent had to get a real job at all because of it. I buy stuff for cheap or sell things that I dont use on ebay or craigslist for a pretty good profit.
I kind of want to open up a thrift store or second hand store since that just sounds better haha. And sell electronics such as cell phones, computer stuff, game systems, car audio. as well as name brand clothing, shoes, etc.
I want my store to be kind of like a pawn shop (have a variety of different things) without actually having the option for customers to sell and get loans from me
I dont know if this is a good idea because of how bad the economy is but buying and reselling is something that I actually like to do and I know that there is a lot of money to be made..

So..anyone who actually has opened a store feel free to give me tips and advice

Short of going to the verizon store itself. Is there a way in the cell phone system settings or something for me to tell what kind of verizon cell phone it is? I am new to cell phones and, very recently, got into a family plan. Dad ( the one who got and gave me the phone ) doesn’t know either and also doesn’t have much experience with cell phones.

I won a small office. Myself and 1 other employee work there. Right now we have no land line phone – just cell phones. I would like to get a fax machine attached to a landline (possibly through Verizon). Their business phone rates seem really high. Will they let me get a basic residential package? I don’t want any special features – just a basic phone line. Thanks in advance for your answers.
