My brother is looking to get a tablet for work. Neither one of us know much about them. He’s thinking of the blackberry playbook but only because he using a BB as his cellphone.
The main program he’d want to use on this tablet is the small business accounting software called Quickbooks. Anyone had any experience with using it on a tablet? Is there a preferred tablet brand/model he should consider?
Thanks

I have an old t-mobile cellphone that is not on anymore that I used to have a contract with t-mobile. I wanted to know if there was an prepaid cell service that I could get this phone activated through, besides t-mobile prepaid ? websites would be helpful too.

Getting calls at all hours from an idiot who just won’t go way. Call block won’t work if it’s coming from a cell phone – so says the AT&T site. Any options?
I am wanting to block calls to my house phone – not my cell phone. But the calls are coming FROM a cellphone.

Currently I use
Freedom Voice for my 888 number that will call my house and mobile when someone calls
Google voice to call out from a business line. They have a blackberry app that lets me use my outbound business number from my cellphone
I’m using extreme fax to send/ receive faxes and they have the Microsoft office plug in which i require.
Is there one company that deals with all this or at least the first and third one?

Just got a new cellphone, and planning to pair my old bluetooth to this new phone.
Had disconnected the bluetooth from the old phone, but my new phone couldn’t find this bluetooth during the set-up process. Does anyone knows the reason why? And how many different phones can a bluetooth be paired up in different times?
Thanks a lot!

In a cellphone there is an option ‘Data Counter’ which shows how much data sent and received so my question is on what are we charged if the gprs connection is based on download i.e. 10 paisa per 10 kb.

I need to find a system that allows users to speak by using the phone lines – not a computer. I have a close friend who has cancer – yet we are two states apart. She does not have a computer and cannot afford one. I want to buy a videophone – NOT a cellphone – so I can see her every day and give her my support. Does anyone have any experience with this? What brands should I look up? I need to buy two systems – one for her and one for me.
