How many computers can a Cisco 851 router support? Have a network that consists of a 851 Cisco with 2 48 port switches behind it. Currently there are 30+ workstations that access the network and internet daily through the 851 with no issues, but plan on adding another additional 15 computers in the near future, should the 851 be able to handle it or should I look into getting something with a little more memory/processing power?

ok, so i’m trying to change my IP address, and i figured out that, since i have comcast, i need to change my mac address. i have a cisco router, and i know that usually you have to change the last 2 digits, save the settings, and then restart your router and modem. however, i have a digit and a letter as my last 2 digits. what do i do?

I want to network two computers together. (See my other question "Sharing DSL service?")
I want a good quality router that will perform well and give good security without paying an arm and leg.
I found a Refurbished CISCO1604-R for .00. Is this a good price?
Anybody have an opinion on this particular router or on D-Link, Linksys or Cisco routers?
Thanks.

If I can believe Cisco Linksys E4200 review, where can I buy E4200 best price online? Do you have any personal experience of using this router. I would like to buy this router after hearing from you?
Thanks in advance.

Why would somebody use Cisco AS5350 as opposed to a regular server? Does it have additional capabilities? If so, what? What types of companies would use them? Thank you!

I have a Cisco Valet m10. It was setup by someone other than myself. This other person setup a password for wireless access to it but the password was lost. Without the password I have a wireless router that I cannot access. If anyone knows a way to completely reset this thing or a way around it please let me know.

I Graduated about a year ago with a BA in psychology. I’m not really interested in going to graduate school but i have been having trouble finding work. I recently found out about the Cisco certification program and want to know if it’s possible or even likely that ill be able to enter the IT job field with an Cisco certification and no degree in computer science.

I have a HyperTerminal session open on a Cisco ASA. The events are continuously scrolling. None of the escape commands are working. I am also unable to type anything into the session. The boss does not want to reboot. Any suggestions on possible fixes?

I’m currently attending college for a Cisco Networking Professional degree. Is this field ideal for someone who isn’t very computer savy? And is it a profession that’s worth going for?
