I have used Taxcut for the past four years. The Federal portion seems okay, but when I try to go into the State section I get "install key not valid" with a message that the key is in the "confirmation email". (On line, others report that installation failed at 21% with an error message about inability to install "mmvdpro.swf"). There may be a confirmation email for those who download the program, but I bought the Taxcut Deluxe CD, no key or email involved! Forget about calling customer service, you spend hours on hold trying to reach a clueless customer service rep. And as for email, you’ll get back a ‘cut and paste’ response that the key is in the confirmation email! After 7 emails, my problem has been ‘escallated’. Response in 48 hours. Yeah, right. I seem to have plenty of company -in Google or similar search engine try typing "taxcut install key not valid". Buggy software, horrible customer service…has anyone been able to resolve this bug?

Hi all, I’m hoping that maybe I might find some good advice here. Things are a bit tough atm
I"m having a rough trot at work right now. I’ve only just started 2 weeks ago and I’m only doing 3 days/week. It’s a job that is brand new to me – I studied hard for 5 yrs to get it – now I’ve got a 3 mth contract in it and I’m really struggling. It’s hard enough to learn the technical systems and acronyms at this place let alone actually working the core business (childrens counselling).
My boss (who is really the same level as me but works 5 days so heads the dept) works hard as well and will help if I ask but she’s made some comments about my lack of knowledge and also said that someone else is more capable than me right in front of me. I’m already doubting myself and this makes it worse. Then I think a viscious circle starts of self doubt and confirmation of this at work. Our joint supervisor was helping me with something over the phone one day and it was a really really messy and difficult administrative task (she said so herself and my boss in the office didn’ know how to fix it either) and I said something like: I’m not sure how I’m going to do this but I’ll (do XYZ task as she suggested) and try my best. I think I sounded overwhelmed so she kindly offered to come in and help because she was familiar with it. It was nice of her but now I think it looks like I am overwhelmed and can’t do the job properly. My immediate boss asked me not to get overwhelmed when she asked me about the task yesterday.
I keep trying and trying and I know I’m doing things right in a lot of areas – she has said so. Our head boss (even higher than our supervisor) has asked me how I’m going and told me to give myself time (to settle in, I guess).
I guess I’d love some success stories of anyone who has struggled/stuffed up and gotten on top of a new, tough, stressful job. Or any advice on how to stay positive and focussed under difficult circumstances? Perservering despite trouble?

The only notice that I have been able to find in any of their paper is that "some charges may apply." What ever happened to notice before a charge would apply? What about confirmation that charges would be accepted? I am offended by what the cell phone companies are allowed to do – I am almost afraid to do anything with the phone, for fear that I would be charged for it.

I recently was contacted by a Sprint recruiter after applying for an account associate position within the Sprint Call center. I was moved to the next step which is an appointment at the call center. I received an email confirmation stating that this hiring process will take about 2hours. Does anyone know if they hire on the spot (do i have a chance of getting hired that day)? What are the assessments like (difficult)? I was told to be prepared for some assessments at my appointment? Anyone have any advice on this process?

I faxed a letter to a company, and they said they never received it and I now lost the confirmation. Now I need to get proof that I faxed it from my number to their number. Please refer me to a company or someone who could help me get these records. I called At&T and they said that they can only give me long distance records of calls, not local record calls. But I need local call records.

I have ordered one online a month ago (1-6-08) and I still have not received my order. I have called the customer service a week ago and was told that they couldn’t find my order and would passed on my case to corporate office. I have email receipt and order confirmation and I used them to reply the emails to inquir my order. However, I never got an answer. This past week, I could never reach PETICURE by phone(automatic answering system). Does anyone know if they’re going out of business?
