When you leave a multi convo on skype, can you still see what others are typing even though you aren’t able to type?

I really like not having to go back and forth from inbox to sent messages to see a conversation with someone. I know that some phones have a chat-style view so you can see the whole convo right there. What verizon wireless phones have that feature?
