A couple of days ago, I missed a phone call because my Iphone was connected to my headset which was lost for the moment in my bag. Any way to deal with that quickly?

I went through my first and second interview to be a security officer in a casino. During the second interview I was told that I was hired by the HEAD of Security and that I would be working within 10 days and to go ahead any but the handcuffs and other equipment needed for the position which I did right away. I passed my background check and was sent to the drug test. I was told it would be 3-5 business days to hear something back due to the holidays. When I did hear from the company I was told to bring in a printout from the pharmacy to prove my prescription. I did this immediately. I call the head of security a week later to check in and was told the results were lost but he verified again that I would be going to work when it got straightened out right after the beginning of the year which my husband heard him say over the speaker phone. Now I get another call from the hiring agency saying they found Opiates in my system which is Lortabs and I could file an appeal. I told the lady that I had turned in the paperwork requested verifying the LEGAL use of the Lortabs and she said she didn’t know that I turned it in. She then verified it with the lady that I turned the paperwork into who also verified that I was offered the position and I was told that they would be getting a hold of me in a couple of days as soon as the lab returned their verification. My question is this, where do I stand after being told 3 times that I had the position and going to the cost of buying all of the equipment I was told that I was required to purchase for the position and then getting the run around? Do I have grounds for an appeal if I am denied the position? Please help as soon as possible.

I’m thinking it’s molting season because she is shedding a lot of feathers and a lot of pin feathers seem to be grown on her head. She is constantly on my desk, scratching her head against the edge of the desk. She has barely been in her cage for the past couple of days [unless I go to sleep] because she is scratching her head on my desk. What can I do to help her?

I have a major problem this the e-mail that I sent to BBB :

"I have a HP laptop Pavilion dv7 that I purchased from Wal-Mart brand new in 2008. A couple months after the manufactures warranty expired I accidentally dropped my laptop at school but it did not break anything but the faceplate over the charger port; however, the laptop was still use able but it did not charge. I took my laptop to my local computer store in Roxboro,NC. They informed me that we did not work with the power port and that I would have to go to different company that does good work with charger ports. Due to my schedule I just went to the closets computer shops on the list, so with that I went to Danville,VA to ‘Computer Clinics’ located on 932 Arnett Boulevard Danville, VA 24540-2233 (P-(434) 791-2111). Once I got there I told the receptionist what happened and I was told that I would receive a phone call once the technician looks at my laptop. A couple of days went by and I received a phone call while at work from Computer Clinics stating that I would be charged 0.00 fee + .00 for parts. So I agreed to it and I was told that I would receive a phone call once my laptop was ready for pick-up only to my disbelief I get a call saying that my motherboard was broken and that there was no charge for the services, it would be fairly expensive to repair the motherboard in which it would be cheaper to purchase another laptop. So I wanted to check my laptop out myself but my schedule didn’t work around the business hours of Computer Clinics so I asked a friend to pick it up for me. When he got to Computer Clinics a technician told him that my password that I gave them did NOT work. So once I had my laptop in my possession I noticed that the charger port was now fixed but the laptop itself would not power on. So the following Saturday I return with several witness before I contact the BBB with a case and have a little talk with the technicians. They could not find the written ticket that was written up but found some information on their computer systems, I talked with the technician named John who told me that he would look at my laptop the following Monday morning. Before closing time on Monday I called back to Computer Clinics to see what was resolved and I was told by another technician that my laptop motherboard was broken where the charger port was at and it could not be turned on. And quoted me a price of a new motherboard for my laptop.

I’m highly upset with this company and the only thing I want done is my laptop fixed. Before I brought my laptop to Computer Clinics I used my laptop at school charging my battery with my sister’s computer since we have the same computer just different styling. I have all my voice mails from the computer clinics receptionist and my call logs from my cell phone and my slip from Computer Solutions in Roxboro, NC referring to different computer businesses that could fix the charger port since most companies would not touch a charger port."

I know I’m not a computer tech but I know there story doesn’t add up and that laptop was the top of the line HP Laptop at the time and I had no intentions of getting a new one or having it in use. I would like to know some information about how to get my laptop fixed by the company that royally screwed me over – pardon my language and it basically trying to weasel their way out of not fixing it- unless I pay. Please I need someone(s) help to what my next step I should take. Also note that this takes place within two different states: NC, VA.

Im 22 and there is a guy I met through my band who is 35 and he is a music producer. The first couple of times that we met he complimented me and i felt the attraction. One night at a music event I needed a business card from him for a friend and he gave me one plus he took my phone out of my hand and stored in his personal number. I called him 2 weeks later and we talked about business and the couple of days i came out and i told him that we should go out on a date. I have never been that bold, but I was curious. He said yeah we should, but Im not looking for anything serious. So we went out the next weekend and we had a great time. It was a really good date. But i was confused because he was all over me, calling me baby, when people called his phone he told them he would have to call them later because he was on a date with his girl. And he was just a total sweet heart. Later on that night we went back to his place and watched a movie and we ended up having sex. He is only the second guy that i’ve been with and i don’t know why i gave in to him, but i did. We talked for the rest of the night and he kept trying to be all over me still and hugged up with me. The next morning I leave and I called him later on that day and he we still had a good conversation except he kept saying "are you good?" and "Im just trying to keep my emotions in check" whatever that means. But we hooked up every couple of days for the next 2 weeks. One night I had a little alcohol in my system and he told me the next day that I said that i was catching feelings. I dont remember saying that, but it was truth thats how i felt. He told me that he didnt want to hurt me because he is moving back to l.a. soon and he is trying to really get his business moving so we should just be friends and have no sex. So i agreed. and for a 1 week I didnt call, text and i didnt answer his calls. But i finally gave in and answered one day and we decided to go out that night. That night though we had sex and the next morning i stayed even longer. He cooked us breakfast and was hugged up all morning until i had to go to work. He calls me everyday and texts everyday. He has been married, but they divorced in ’98. Everytime we see each other it feels like a relationship and not a friendship, but over the phone it feels like friendship and business. Im confused??? What does he really want? Is he scared to be attached to someone or does he just like the whole friends with benefits deal?

A couple of days ago, I got four e-mails from paypal stating that someone had changed my password, my address, and other information. I immediately call paypal, but no one would talk to me because I wasn’t the "account holder". They won’t give me any information. I can’t reset the password because they changed the social security number, the driver license number, everything. So, I need to hack into my own account to get the new password and change it back. I know its not impossible, but I do know its difficult. Is anyone out there who could help me figure out how to get into my account. I know there is software you can buy online that will help you, but I don’t know if its worth it. I don’t know if they still have my credit card information, so I need to make sure that I get back into my account. Can anyone help me??
I already called my banks and told them that I did not authorize any paypal payments until further notice. I just want to get back into the account.
Paypal e-mailed me stating they want credit card bills, utility bills, and statements from the CURRENT address on the account. I told them I don’t have the current address, the current name or anything about the account. They told me I’m up a creek then. There isn’t anything I can do to get the information. With the software, I’m not hacking other people’s accounts. I am going to delete it once I get my information back. I just want my account back.

I have cable internet and phone, I also have my modem connected to a router so I can have my laptop anywhere in the house (if that makes a difference) A couple of days ago I started to get disconnected everytime I phoned someone or they phoned me…How can I stop this from happening?
I’m not using Vonage but something similar I guess, Shaw (a Canadian isp) oh and its not pay as you go. The retarded part of all this is that it just started happening, Ive had no problems for the past 3 months ive used it, which makes me think its some sort of setting on my computer…I just don’t know, guess thats why I’m here

So, I’ve been playing alot of battle grounds with my level 70 warrior lately. In 2 seperate instances over the past couple of days I’ve been called and "account buyer" twice. I didn’t buy my account, I worked VERY hard on it. Can anyone tell me why people would think otherwise?
