I have a compressed wood night table and a desk, but they are like a cherry wood color. I want them to match my black tv stand and coffee table. Have any ideas? I mean, its laminated so I don’t know what to do. Can somebody help me?

It says the IS help desk is at x2500 but they didn’t post the full number. They really need to make that site more user friendly.

Who should I talk to if I would like to have a customized standing desk. I would like to have it professionally done. Is there a certain profession that does these things? If so what is it called? I tried googling metal workers, wood workers, personal architect, but not sure if that is actually what I need.
Thank you all for your help!

It’s an assignment. I need to know what cultural differences a IT help desk should be aware of when dealing with customers in China (or if not China, anywhere else outside of the USA)
Any help appreciated

I was removing nail polish with the acetone in my nails. I was doing this on an old rag towel and i thought the desk was safe, but it seeped through the towel and when i went to remove the towel the towel was stuck to the desk and when i pulled it apart there was a big round circle of the towel fuzz. PLEASE HELP!
keep in mind though…i want to fix the problem not make it worse so let me know if you are positive about the advice you give!

I would like a desk external hard drive or less with a USB 3.0 interface. I am finding many of these but they are usually out of my price range. Do not worry about finding anything with a lot of memory, I don’t necessarily need more than 250 gigs.
I appreciate any answers you have to offer, and if I have to I will buy a more portable EHD, but I do prefer the dock
Please feel free to offer links to mobile drives as well as desktop drives. Thank you.

while on a trip to seattle you take the elevator to the observation desk of the space needle, from there you drop your math book out the window and miss the safety net so it falls to the ground. Gravity causes an object to fall a distance of d=4.9t^2 where t represents time in seconds and d represents distance in meters. Neglecting wind resistance find the distance the book travels from the 5th second after you dropped it to the 6th second after you dropped it.

While trying to rid my husbands computer of a nasty virus that attacked his hard drive I transfered it to my laptop thru a falsh drive. It has attacked my hard drive and all my .exe files. I called several places and they all want over 0 per computer to fix it. Unfortunately that is not in the budget right now. His computer wont even boot up and my laptop takes a few trys but i can get it booted up but once it does I cant open anything because it says that there is an .exe error. Is there a good DIY virus removal program i can buy to fix it myself? I have McAffe and it didnt catch the virus. I called the help desk and they told me to DL some tools which i did. This is how I infected my laptop. When the first one didnt work I DL’ed another tool on the flash drive and the virus attacked my laptop. Any help will be greatly appreciated

I am looking for some free or cheap help desk/ticket system software. Does anybody have any ideas. I’ve downloaded and tried everything on the planet. Please don’t suggest to me anything that requires me to set up servers and php and sql and such. If it can’t all be set-up on a single computer, then it is way more than I need. I found something last year, but forgot what the name of it was. It was free too! Please help!

I’m looking for an IT Help Desk position. I don’t have a degree and I’m not certified in anything, but I know a fair amount an fix friends computers. I took an online A+ cert practice test and got a 75. I’m concerned about the interview. Do they ask a lot of technical questions at these interviews? I’m worried about overstating how much I really know on my resume to get my foot in the door. I’m 80% sure I could do the job once I get in. I’m VERY mechanically inclined and I’m a born problem solver.
