Wireless IP phone small office system?

I have a small business that I would like to run VOIP system in but: a) I don’t want to pay thousands of dollars for such system and b) I’m renting an old office space that does not have LAN capabilities and I’m having a hard time negotiating a deal with the property manager.
How would I go about a Wireless IP phone system that would allow me to run my business better and not go through construction, wiring closet, wall ethernet ports, etc
I’ve been looking at some Wireless IP phones but I don’t think it is as simple as turn on a wireless IP phone, connect it to your wireless router, and you are all set. Can someone give me an idea on what other equipments are needed?

I am having a hard time finding someone who uses a wireless headset when chatting on Yahoo messenger voice. Is there anyone out there who does and if so which headset do you use?

good customer service background, good software applications skills, good administration skills. I’m having a hard time and I do not wish to go through an agency. Any suggestion. I live in San Gabriel Valley

Customer service?

I work at a fast food restaurant and I seriously lack customer service.
I sometimes do a cashier but I get awkward with almost every customer, and they become awkward with me too. It’s really stressful and embarrassing. Many customers also have a little hard time hearing what I’m saying, because my voice quality is what’s not easy to hear. I feel like I’m an amateur staff at this restaurant. What’s worse is that English is my second language. I usually pronounce some words weirdly, or mix up sentences. Sometimes I can’t think right away what would be appropriate/professional things to say to a customer.
My question is, how can you transform from an amateur to a professional?

I’ve read that a good technique is to (1) cut a template out of hardboard or MDF, (2) rough cut the work piece 1/8" larger than the template, (3) attach the template and use a flush router bit to cut the workpiece flush to the template. I’ve tried this using 3/16" hardboard for my template, but when I do the router cut I’m having a hard time making the cut flush to the template. The router I’m using is a straight router with a bearing at the top. I’m a novice at using the router, so any advice is appreciated.

Should I change jobs? I work as an insurance agent making only .80 after 10 years? My boss is cheap! We have 20 year old phone systems, broken office supplies, etc.. I could earn .75 starting out and in 3 years at a very reputable company. I think that’s pretty good money but I’m scared I will have a hard time learning something new after so many years. Also I work in an office with 2 other ladies (one of which is very attached to me). I think she might freak! How can I break the news to her gently?

What are some good ways to prospect?

So I just need a simple, but not boring looking business card. I’m having a hard time trying to come up with a design. I’m not a graphic designer or anything but i wanted a business card without having to pay someone else to design for me. Can anyone give me tips/direct me to websites or a software that can help me make my own business card?

Should I quit my high-paying call center job?

I am working for 2 years in a call center as a customer service. I work graveyard from 9pm-7am. Im meeting the metrics but sometimes i feel so dumb if i cannot handle a call properly or when i get irate callers.

It frustrates and stresses me a lot and makes me feel guilty when I make several mistakes transferring them to the wrong department.I want to give good customer service but the company’s products are sometimes too difficult for me to understand.

What keeps me going are my closest friends, one best friend, and the fat paycheck.

But everyday I always worry what kind of calls I will be getting each day. I sometimes dread going to work esp. thinking of how I would totally suck at handling difficult calls and I have a hard time understanding the customer’s problem and giving a solution or support for it.

I graduated Business Administration and I was advised to find a job at the bank or any normal day job. But i am scared to start at the bottom and esp. with the lesser pay.

My best friend is leaving and it’s causing me great sadness that I no longer find meaning and inspiration of staying in this job but I am afraid to risk and regret leaving the job because I need to save more money.

The main reason that will make me want to leave is because I don’t think i can go on without my best friend. I broke down and cry when i learned he is leaving next year by March.

Now I almost cry myself to sleep because I feel so depressed knowing he is leaving me when he seems to be my only source and inspiration that I am holding on.

Second, the job is sometimes making guilty and worries me.But I am still very thankful I get a good paycheck. But it’s amazing I was able to manage and become one of the top agents for the past few months.

But in reality,I really get scared bec. deep inside me I know I didn’t understand anything much about the company’s products esp. with software.

What should I do?I really can’t go on without my bestfriend and most of my friends are leaving too. Should I find another job too?
Or should I endure the stress for the sake of a good salary and enjoy great benefits that i won’t be able to find elsewhere?
Or do I get more satisfaction and peace if I settle for a less stressful job but with lesser pay?
Is it worth changing my high-paying callcenter job?I really don’t know what to do.

Is the FICO system designed to keep hard working people down? To only provide very low interest loans to the rich for business purposes to get even richer? Allow a certain few the privelage of 0% interest on new cars?

I have noticed that quite a few people I know have a hard time to get their score above 700. Many pay their bills on time, own homes and yet still, their scores only rise a few points every year because of a single late payment within the past 6 years.

Why is the system set up so that a common person has to prove everything to a credit reporting agencie with piles of paperwork and copies of everything, while the banks and those corrupt bottom feeding collection agencies only have to place a phone call to report negative items. And some will do so for years by re-dating which is illegal to do in the first place.

What’s your opinion and do you think it’s fair?

What can I do with a business management degree?

I graduate in 2 weeks with a degree in Business Management. I have been working in sales up until now as that is the only field that has worked around my full time school schedule. I do not want to continue on with retail once I get my degree. I was hoping for some advice on what my options are as far as a career. I have been looking at job openings and am having a hard time figuring out what I qualify for. Please help!

I’m doing IB and for our Business and Management class we are required to investigate a business decision. I’ve been having a hard time choosing something interesting, but also something I can find easy information on.

Ok, I want to go out and hunt some crow today, but I am having a hard time even finding them, even though I can hear them everywhere. If I record a crow stress call on my phone, and then replay it for a bit, will it attract crows? Thanks guys

MQ: Do you have a .wav or mp3 file of a call to use?

I have to do a term paper of a topic in telecommunications but I am having a hard time trying to find a topic. I was thinking about AT&T’s/Bell Labs divesture or the digital divide. Any other suggestions?
