I am interested in working at a hotel, probably at the front desk. (part time or casual)
The hotels around here are 4-5 star and very professional, and they only hire people with lots of experience.
I would of tried more lower-class hotels, but there isn’t many, especially location wise.
I am 18, and how could i possibly get a job?
If i try doing work experience, can that help me? Since work experience are available with some.

Is it true this is just a fake job scam on the Internet? If yes, what should I do? I guess we shall make a report so these ppl will stop fooling other ppl who really want to find a job abroad.

I’m looking to put a home intercom system in my house, similar to the ones they have in hotels, but not the same. My cousins have them back in Florida, but I don’t want to ask them about it. I would also like it to connect to my front door, so that when someone rings our doorbell, we can talk to them through our phones and an intercom unit on the outside. If possible, the outdoor unit has a camera built in, so that we can see who is at the front door by either turning on our televisions or through one unit in the kitchen.

I’m really getting burnt out working til 8pm at nights and every other week-end. I’m just looking for a normal day job off by 1:30, 2:30, or 3:30pm at the latest. There’s gotta be some company in Illinois who has day hours for customer service.I have my resume on monster,careerbuilder and a couple of others. But so far all of the companies that have responded want me to work late hours. I just need day hours because I’m really getting burnt out. I wouldn’t mind changing careers and becoming a passenger driver for hotels or transporting seniors during the day. Anybody know of any of those companies that have day hours as stated above.
