sage 50 accounting software. I asked at job centre if i could be eligible for a free course or reduced fees whilst still applying for jobs, i explained this would not affect job hunt. They said NO as im signing on im not allowed by them to do this. When the 26 weeks is up THEY decide what course Im to go on. A friend who had 15 years call centre skills was told they would put her on a customer service phone skills course, no comment. what an insult. This course had people on who did not want to work, she did. Its as if they want you to get tp 26 week mark so they have to tell you what to do. Now my jsa finishes soon, hubby working. They say if i want to have national insurance paid by them i still have to sign on and am still under their rules and sanctions having to prove and be answerable to them. I am in process of finding out if i have enough nat ins contributions towards pension, im in my 50`s. If i do and dont get a job by the 26 week mark i will just sign off, have nothing to loose and alot to gain. Can do charity work without having to clear it with them 1st, go on any courses i wish (will have to ask hubby to pay ). I just want to know of anyone elses expereinces with all of this

OK, getting a machine is bad enough, having no choice but to follow prompts, worse. But when the machine "talks" to you like its a real person, does that get on your nerves?
Oh yeah, the machines that put on angry voices. Next they’ll have machines that insult your mother, call you the c word and threaten to take your wallet.
