I have used microsoft money and found the layout insanely frustrating. I am looking to have the capability to determine beta, alpha, volatility of individual investments and the portfolio as a whole. I would also like to be able to compare my returns to previous years and choose the time frame.

I fired my broker, because thats what he made me. And their portfolio tracking software was terrible. He had a 8 year time frame, and I wasn’t swapping in and out of things either.

Has anyone heard of or know of any forum reviews or have made investments with the following HYIPs "forex-moneymaker, loon fund, your profit here, golden forex investment, capital investment central, market forex ltd, nortel investment and investment forex online?"

I am doing my due dilligence before i place my investments in any of them? Tips, advice and personal experience are very helpful.

I’m looking for the best software that will allow me to manage and track my investments, most of which are mutual funds and individual stocks. I have used Quicken and Money but they’re too complex. I just need a simple program that will allow me to conduct simple analysis such as asset allocation models. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I have been using MS Money on and off for the past two years. I’ve found it difficult and doesn’t help as much to track debt and debt payments. It looks like it would work well for tracking investments.

In order to sell stock a company, in most cases, must have a par value for its stock. In accounting, an account is created called "Common stock", my understanding is that a par value must be stated along with the account. What happens when the par value changes, and a new round of investments is done?
