Which would you take while in school?

I got two job offers. Both starting today and i dont know which one to take, Its just a part-time while i finish up college. Which would you take?
JOB ONE.
1. Wage; 9.25hr
2. Location; approax 12miles from home
3. Job title; Appointment setter for Answer solutions (like a call center for a IT firm setting appointments for people that call in) ITS NOT TELEMARKETING.
4. The place has a overall laid back feel. My wedding is coming up and they had NO PROBLEM giving me Friday, Monday, and Tuesday off.
5. Hours; Mon-Friday 2-6pm.

Job TWO.
1. Wage; 8.25hour
2. Location; approax 5miles from home
3. Job Title; DressBarn employee..pretty much DO EVERYTHING within store, stocking, cashier cleaning, inventory. Also have to meet Sales qouta, sign 20ppl up weekly for credit card etc etc. She is ONLY willing to give me the day of my wedding off.. She seems rude in my opinion on alot of things.
4. Hours; VARY GREATLY can be anyday of the week Mon-Sun, any hours from open to close (this is not good for my schooling, and i also have a daughter).

Which one would you choose?

Conflict because, Job two would be willing to give me more hours if i needed, They also would give me some experience in sales (even though for my major i dont need that) I already have call center experience through AT&T, So thought i could expand my resume by having some sales experience as well. However i just want to make money have a set time.

Also i worry about JOB ONE letting people go.. they hired me and it took them a week to give me a start date… =/

Need help with job titles?

I am a manager at a mid sized software company and I run the operations department. I have always been an out of the box thinker and try to push myself and my employees past what their operational job descriptions may be to the point where we do a lot of internal development as well such as intranets, e-learning websites and just about all of the professional services these days. We have just been acquired by another company and I need to express to the new management via job title what my guys do without a bunch of slashes. We are not technically the development department so I can’t call us that but we do a heck of a lot of development. Any suggestions are welcome.

Was I just scammed?

I just got a phone call at work that sounded like it was from overseas. The caller was "confirming" our company’s "free yellow pages business listing." He already knew our company name and contact info and I said "correct" as he read it back.

Then the call got weird. He got me to spell out my name and then asked for my job title. When I answered, he said that title wasn’t in their system and I should just say I was a "supervisor" when he transfered me to someone who was going to confirm our listing.

A second guy came on and said his call was being timed, so to please not interrupt him because he had to complete it in so many seconds. Then he said to interrupt him if the info was wrong. He repeated this mumbo-jumbo several times.

When this caller asked me my job title, I gave my original answer. He said, "A supervisor?" When I answered, "Not really," he hung up.

Has this happened to anyone else? I’m afraid I said "yes" at one point and they’ll be able to scam me.
They already knew our company information, so the only thing I really gave them was my own name.

I’m not sure what it means that they hung up on me.
