I am interested in working at a hotel, probably at the front desk. (part time or casual)
The hotels around here are 4-5 star and very professional, and they only hire people with lots of experience.
I would of tried more lower-class hotels, but there isn’t many, especially location wise.
I am 18, and how could i possibly get a job?
If i try doing work experience, can that help me? Since work experience are available with some.

Thanks

I have two phones, my old one and my new one. The Samsung SCH-A930 and the LG Dare. I switched from the Samsung to the LG and love it. But I’d prefer to use the old one for work since my job could rough up my new phone. Is there anyway that I could switch service back to the old one for a little and then back to the new one? They’re both CDMA phones and my service is Verizon.
-Thanks

staring job as a Network Administrator or Technitian
or what other jobs can i get and how much would be
more or less an average salary for this job?

Does this sound like a fraud?

So I got this job through monster.com. this company called fresh-solutions offered me job where they send me money in my bank. then i have to withdraw an amount(00 recently) and then send that amount to other countries through western union and then get 8% commison. I actually had 00 in my bank and i actually went home with money on the day of my first task from dedeuctint the commission. Now It seems fishy to me because the job is too easy and I did get the offer tnhrough the internet…and the fact that I get 8% commission of every task plus 00 at end of every month. I reported the job to the Internet Crime Complaint Center and Monster.com to investigate it, but it will take some time, so what does everyone think of this job? I am afraid the money is going to other countries for suspicious reasons possibly illegal activity.

***Oh and if anyone knows a website where they have a list of fraud internet companies(if it exists) please inform me!
SHOULD I REPORT IT TO MY LOCAL POLICE? OR DO THEY NOT HANDLE SUCH MATTERS?

How do you successfully customer service?

In most lines of work, customer service inevitably becomes a part of job. I believe, the statistics is that the more customer servicing is involved the higher the turn-over rate. However, in most cases, you can’t quit your job because you don’t like people who have to help out at work.

What are your experiences and feelings about "customer service" at your job? If you feel, you are managing it well enough, what mindset do you use for customer servicing?
Let me further ask, do you feel your success at customer servicing is affected by your ethnicity?

I am currently working in Customer Service and I really want to do good in my job. If you were a customer, what do qualities would you ask for so you’d know that I am sincere about providing you good service?

Do you still need to pay the per month without it? I have an env3 right now and my mom is saying the droid is too expensive (acceptable because we have money issues) Once I get a job Ill pay for the internet though.

A local wendy’s I applied at called me up today but I didn’t pick up the phone because I wasn’t sure if I want the job yet. How long can I wait to call back before it’s too late?

Question one: The ability to provide solutions to a wide range of customer enquiries is important in the role of a CSA in O2. Tell me about a time when you identified someone’s needs a time when you really had to pull out all the stops to help them explain what they really wanted.

Question 2:What do you think will be the most challenging/rewarding part of the Advisor role (as described in the Performance Profile)? Why?

It’s for a job in an O2 call centre, The answers don’t need to be true or anything, It’s mainly the 1st one I need help with… because I don’t exactly have any answers for it AT all, so if someone could name one of their times or something it would help alot!… this is also only my second interview ever lol

Poll: What is the worst job you've ever had?

For me, it was working in a call center as internal tech support for a large software company. Now ringing phones make me want to kill someone.
what’s the worst job you’ve ever had, and why?

I sent my application and resume to an accounting firm and I want to show them that I’m taking the initiative to get this job. I want to do that by calling the HR manager and maybe schedule an interview or him/her somehow that I’m the right candidate to look at. What do I say to them? How do I speak without sounding rude or too bossy?

A couple months ago a company called me and let me know that a great opportunity would be opening up in late spring. They said they would call me when it got closer to the time when the job would be available. They recently called me and we had a great interview. I was sure the position was mine. But now its been about a week and I still have not heard anything. Has anyone ever had an employer wait this long to call you back? Do employers make candidates sweat it out on purpose ?
