basically i had opened a new checking account elsewhere and had notified the bank that i would be wiring money out of the account. at my new bank they said the wiring into the account would act as a "cash advance" and the money would be instantly available. now the old bank is trying to say my account is 00 overdrawn and they keep calling me. if that is really the case, why should i pay for their accounting mistake? can they make me pay it back i.e. seek legal help?

While going thru divorce my ex had a system installed at our business which allowed him, the GM and office manager (all who were on his side) monitor the office phones and computers. I was there while it was installed but told it was installation of phones for the apartments in the building. He printed/distributed my personal emails and listened to and read correspondence between my divorce attorney and myself. The divorce resulted in a great inequality in asset division in part because of this. I only discovered it after being awarded the business and found everything still monitored. I had an IT tech remove it but now have no phone service and can find no one that knows how to work on it and the company he had won’t cooperate. I believe it is owned by one man and my ex is paying him off. I am pretty sure my home computer and possibly phone were also monitored and had the IT tech secure them. Isn’t this illigal and if so who do you report it to? I contacted the FBI who told me it was a local police problem. I reported to them but they arent doing anything. Do I have any legal help from anyone?

I currently work for a Telecommunication Company ( you know, bell, rogers, telus blah blah)
The other day I was called into a room with 2 individuals who were from Corporate Investigations and they told me that "apparently" I had applied some credits on a customers account, and that I personall knew this customers (according to the business rules you are not allowed to give credits to someone you know)
I asked them how they knew this and they told me that they checked my "personal phone" in the system and found out that the same number i applied the credit to i had made a lot of calls to from my personal phone.
My question is, that just becasue I am using the company for my personal phone, are they allowed to go thru MY phone and find out who I AM calling? Is my privacy not being invaded? Regardless of any fact???
Not to mention, they were recording me when I was speaking, which I okayed but what was the need for that.
I need some legal help and Need to know my rights. Please help me.
