Came home today to find my internet and phone disconnected. We have had no warning whatsoever. We had changed our payment details and got a message on the 15th saying that the payment was in place and all neccessary funds would be taken from there. All I could get from the phone was Talk Talk who told us it could take up to 48 hours to put back up. All for a problem that is theirs.
I rely on the internet for business, homework etc and it is simply neccessary. Furthermore, what if I was an old person or pregnant lady who relied on the phone? Disgusting in this day and age an I was told by their supervisor that there is no warning system in place. Discrase.

Question is, is what they have done legal and if not, which law are they breaking?
I’m in the UK, paid the bill as the money has been taken. Quick enough to turn it off but takes 48 hours to put back up again? I also notice they do not have systems in place to warn people about this but do have the systems to send me spam to try and get me to buy more of their rubbish.

I would finally like to find something that I can do from home that will bring in extra income without having to pay anyone money. Since I am a stay at home mom with three kids I cannot afford to pay for childcare and I have been looking for so long for something that I can do from home. I have been ripped off like three times and am praying to find something serious since I am a serious and very responsible person that all I want is to earn some descent money without being ripped off. I am a high school graduate, bilingual in english and spanish, can operate a computer and basic software, know how to surf the internet and have past telemarketing experience as well as cashier and customer service experience.

I’ve been looking around for good gaming headsets for the 360, but when I go deeper into the review, I find that most of them just have some kind of problem. Whether it’s the comfort or lack of great sound quality, the ones I’ve seen aren’t that great. If someone knows of a headset that is superior in comfort, sound quality, and is good for the money, please let me know. By the way, my price range goes up to . Thanks!

and the box was damaged. When I tried to install the software, it worked, but it crashes

I am a guy who will be workng in a customer service call center soon. Not sure what type of bag to get to carry things around. Here are the things I probably will carry: Keys, wallet (not sure if to leave in car) cell phone (not sure if to leave in car) money for snacks (they have vending machines) a pen, some paper, maybe an ipod if allowed.

A backpack is cool but I won’t be carrying books. Or basically a lot of things to require something that big.

I have a Samsung A640 that I want to make ringtones on. I don’t have a data cable, and I’m cheap so I don’t want to spend any money. I want a cell phone app that can make ringtones on the phone.

He has had this business for a while. It is a small automotive shop, but he is just starting to bring computers into the picture. He knows how to use a computer but now he wants to start storing his records on his computer. He was thinking of getting some software that would manage his customer records, sales, inventory (possibly)…. etc…

He has no idea where to start looking. Anything freeware? Should he spend some money?

Im 17 and starting to think what I want to do with my life. Ive always been good at selling stuff and I havent had to get a real job at all because of it. I buy stuff for cheap or sell things that I dont use on ebay or craigslist for a pretty good profit.
I kind of want to open up a thrift store or second hand store since that just sounds better haha. And sell electronics such as cell phones, computer stuff, game systems, car audio. as well as name brand clothing, shoes, etc.
I want my store to be kind of like a pawn shop (have a variety of different things) without actually having the option for customers to sell and get loans from me
I dont know if this is a good idea because of how bad the economy is but buying and reselling is something that I actually like to do and I know that there is a lot of money to be made..

So..anyone who actually has opened a store feel free to give me tips and advice

It showed me that NPR doesn’t care where the money comes from as long as they get their paycheck.

It showed me that they will support any cause that will support them financially.
