A couple of days ago, I missed a phone call because my Iphone was connected to my headset which was lost for the moment in my bag. Any way to deal with that quickly?

What should I do if My employer keeps demanding my attention (government job) while I am on a business/customer/patient phone call?

I received a phone call and email for a job interview fron Bankers conseco life insurance co long island. They got my resume from Monsters.com.
Do any one knows about this company. I have my experience in accounting and finance.

What can the sentence be, if any, if a person accidentally tape records a phone call they made to someone and kept it, because they believe it exposes police corruption? And what if you didn’t destroy the tape, but circulated it? (This phone call took place in Nevada to California.)

If you live in New York State and want to record your phone conversation with someone do you have to inform the other person that the phone call is being recorded? Or can you record the phone conversation with that person without their permission?

I downloaded the google call thing on my gmail account and I can make calls just fine, I can hear the other side- but the person on the other side cannot hear me! I have a laptop with the webcam and the microphone built in & I have a skype that works just fine- but there’s something wrong with my gmail phone call thing.

A telecommunications company commissioned a study to investigate the amount of time that people spend on phone calls. The study that found that the length of time that people spend on a phone call is approximately normally distributed with a mean of 427 seconds and a standard deviation of 94.8 seconds.

Calculate the standardized value (z) for a time of 610 seconds. Give your answer to 2 decimal places.

z =

i need help figuring out this problem. Please help!

I’d like to give a follow-up phone call to the HR dept. of a possible employer after I submitted my resume last week. Any ideas on what to say during the conversation? What types of questions should I ask?

Can that cell phone call be used in court? What if I made some threats to the person?

I just noticed I got a phone call & voice mail maybe an hour ago from a potential employer. It’s over 10PM here already so I feel it may be too late to return the call today. How long is too long to wait to call someone back? Would it be okay if I called back tomorrow morning/afternoon?

I’m running a murder mystery for some friends and I want them to receive a scary phone call, but to alieviate suspicion, I want it to come to them while everyone is in the room. Ideally, I want to be able to login to my laptop and have it call them and play a sound file automatically, but I can’t seem to find anything that does that.

I tried to record them and I asked "Do you mind if I record this call", she said Wells Fargo does not allow it and it is illegal. I thought if one party is recording me than why cant I do same? The number is from Minnesota. I was a day late on loan, I have had it for 10 yrs and never had a problem till Wells Fargo took it over recently. Can I legally record them in this state? If they state this phone call may be monitored then I should be able to do same right?

Is the FICO system designed to keep hard working people down? To only provide very low interest loans to the rich for business purposes to get even richer? Allow a certain few the privelage of 0% interest on new cars?

I have noticed that quite a few people I know have a hard time to get their score above 700. Many pay their bills on time, own homes and yet still, their scores only rise a few points every year because of a single late payment within the past 6 years.

Why is the system set up so that a common person has to prove everything to a credit reporting agencie with piles of paperwork and copies of everything, while the banks and those corrupt bottom feeding collection agencies only have to place a phone call to report negative items. And some will do so for years by re-dating which is illegal to do in the first place.

What’s your opinion and do you think it’s fair?

I for one oppose any form of social control . From the Patriot Act, AR210-35, RFID CHip, or the REAL ID . I firmly believe Social Services does more harm than good. The Goverment should not be involved with raising our own family, religion, abortion(whether for or against) or deny us our Constitutional rights.

Many people will say but CPS has saved thousands of families. Really? For every family they save they have destroyed almost 4 families. Thats a 4-1 ratio. If you cannot protect yours kids that is YOUR problem. Lets take for examplean issue.

#1 An abusive husband is beating his wife. Kids are present. You live in a state lets say Kentucky or Washington State. You call Social Services(which i dont know why you would not call the police instead) and tell tem your situation. They will pretty much violate every right you have in the sake of the "interest of the child". Even if their is no evidance they act as if they are the law themselves often without proof. So if CPS wont help what do you do ? Well Help your self. Go buy a fire arm and defend yourself. or if a fire arm is too extreme try a Stun "gun" something that will help you defend against anyone. In this case I would have moved immediatly but most people cannot as their husbands are the main source of income.

#2 issue

Lets say CPS get a anonymouse phone cal that you are smoking pott in the house with kids. First et me say that phone call is not evidance or could be used as evidance as it is anonymous. Secondly if CPS forces anyone to take a drug test that will violate 4th ,5th,6th, and the 14th amendment. They cannot tell you to do anything without your permission. They are not police they have no legal authority unless they have a valid Search Warrant which you need to see first before you let them inside your home. I for one wont let CPS into my home for ANYTHING. They are a corrupt socialist system.I have never relied on CPS or the police not once. Why because I am very well informed and have years in the military. And even if CPS has a legal right which i dont see how they would, I would have hird a lawyer to be present but if they cant be i woult taperecord everything CPS says, and have them stay outside. And even if someone was smoking marijiuana so what . Weed has been known to be "healthier"than cigerettes and should be taxed and regulated like any hard drug, Tax, Regulate,Age Restrictions render most illegal drug trade out of business

So for those that say CPS is here for you . Guess again they hate the idea you have control of your family so they want social control . Quite the Maxist Idea i know.
In Fighting for your rights against goverment officials.

#1 Know Constitutional Rights
#2 Do not incriminate yourself ;nswer only basic info like your name and social number thats it.
#3- Tape record everything if you do talk
#4- Do not submit for a drug test(that violates 4 const. rights)

If you have issues with CPS shoot me a line or just trouble with the goverment . I served 5 yrs with the goverment i know what they can do and what they are doing. Not to mention i am a student in political Science.
Well while i stated my opinion . There is a major question > What do you think of CPS and what issue have you had with them

recording a phone call?

Okay I own photo card business, and sometimes I go to Walmart to get some cards printed.
I went today and the manager was being an a-hole. I submit 2-3 orders online separatly and when I get there they combine my order into one.
So I get the a discount if I order 100 or more. Never had a problem. Since I go to the store often I see this manager often around the store and carries himself as "God gift to Walmart"
Okay so the manager is in the photolab today (shortstaffed) and when I am about to combine my orders and the photo clerk (a young girl) says she does not know how to do it. So she gets the manager who
refuses to do it due to company policy, because it is a separate orders. I am also a photographer and I can tell you that I have not heard of this. All the photolab managers do it without a problem.
So I tell him If I refuse to take the order and resubmit the order will you then apply the discount? He said that was the only way!! He kept on saying "company policy" but with a big smile on his face.
Does this make sense? He was willing to reprint them and throw away the previous orders.
Okay so I go home in disbelief and pissed, and decide to call him, and ask him how can this be? He was being rude and sarcastic and telling me company policy, and that all the other Walmart were not follwing company policy.
I realize that I am talking on my company phone and that the phone call is being recorded. So I tell him, If I forward the call to upper management who what would they they think?
He said "This is illegal and I’m calling the cops" We’ll the cops aren’t at my door yet… :)
So it is illegal to tape a conversation, but it depends if a place of business normally records their conversations then, it is okay.
Please see:
All parties must consent to the recording or the disclosure of the contents of any wire, oral or electronic communication in Florida. Recording, disclosing, or endeavoring to disclose without the consent of all parties is a felony, unless the interception is a first offense committed without any illegal purpose, and not for commercial gain. Fla. Stat. ch. 934.03. These first offenses and the interception of cellular frequencies are misdemeanors. State v. News-Press Pub. Co., 338 So. 2d 1313 (1976).

Under the statute, consent is not required for the taping of a non-electronic communication uttered by a person who does not have a reasonable expectation of privacy in that communication. See definition of “oral communication,” Fla. Stat. ch. 934.02. See also Stevenson v. State, 667 So.2d 410 (Fla. Dist. Ct. App. 1996); Paredes v. State, 760 So.2d 167 (Fla. Dist. Ct. App. 2000).

In Cohen Brothers, LLC v. ME Corp., S.A., 872 So.2d 321 (Fla. Dist. Ct. App. 2004), the District Court of Appeal for the Third District of Florida held that members of a limited liability company’s (LLC) management committee did not have a reasonable expectation of privacy with respect to participation in telephone conference calls with other committee members to discuss continued financing of the LLC, and thus could not hold the committee members liable for recording the conference calls.

A federal appellate court has held that because only interceptions made through an “electronic, mechanical or other device” are illegal under Florida law, telephones used in the ordinary course of business to record conversations do not violate the law. The court found that business telephones are not the type of devices addressed in the law and, thus, that a life insurance company did not violate the law when it routinely recorded business-related calls on its business extensions. Royal Health Care Servs., Inc. v. Jefferson-Pilot Life Ins. Co., 924 F.2d 215 (11th Cir. 1991).

I was going to pick up some prints for business and did call from my business phone.. so does this apply?
The reason is that I am not going to stop going to this Walmart and I am not going to take this crap either….
So what do you guys suggest I do?
I don’t want to go to jail for this either….

BTW
He has done this before, One time he would not issue a refund for a photograph that was crooked. As a photographer I now it was an issue with the printer. So I asked for a refund to have them printed elsewhere. No he said he would print them until they came out right!
The second time it was printed, it came out crooked, so he had to manually cut it. He was pissed.
