So i made the basement my room and it looks awesome! The only problem is I cant get phone service in here! I cant charge my phone in here or have it in here it sucks! I have cricket, is there something i could buy to get service or should i just switch to another company?

I read that we have 60 million people in USA that feel lonely. Don’t you think is a good idea to provide a phone service that these people can vent/talk?

So my parents and i got in a fight and they temporarily disconnected my phone service (I have a blackberry tour) is there anyway that i can reverse it? Thanks.

I would like to use the htc thunderbolt from verizon in the cricket or or net10 phone service!
Has there been any flashing service available for this phone?
I belive this new phone from verizon is the only phone that uses a (gsm) sim chip vrs a cdma like most verizon phones! so it may well be not suitable for cricket service! but it could for other phone companies!

No No No… You see, i want a phone number where i can call and tell them the address / state / name of a PERSON and they will search their database or something if they have a phone number.

I was thinking about signing up for Vonage or Sage’s phone service and using AT&T’s internet service but I’m wondering if there might be a any difference to the internet performance if I use AT&T’s internet and also AT&T’s phone service instead of using a phone service with a different company.

I have cable TV through them as well and it works FINE. Just my phone . I bought a new phone thinking that might help, it did not.

I have been with Sprint on month to month basis since my 2 year contract had ended back in July 2010.
Now, I want to change my phone service to pre-paid phone, therefore, I need to terminate my Sprint account.

By looking at my monthly billing cycles it is on the 22nd of each month. Today is the 16th. Is that means, its a good week to terminate it, and wont be charged for the next billing cycle ?

My computer broke down, it started going slow, i got blue screen, and things were getting out of hand. So i reformat my Hard drive but i cant copy windows xp to it, some of the system files will not copy. So from there everything is a mess, and i cant even go to the setting up windows xp part without getting an error and giving me no opition but to force shut down.I’ve brought a new hard drive and i’ve gotten the same problem, i reformat both hard drive and installed windows xp completely on a different computer then moved it to my PC. This works but as soon as i restart it about 3 times, it deletes or "terminates" a system file, cause it to go on a loop of restarting itself over and over…I even installed an anti virus and updated it, when i ran a scan i got no infection, i used three different programs all same results. i checked for confiker on mircosoft website and the scan didnt find it…All this leads me to believe that my BIOS must be infected with a virus.
-I have a gateway GT5404
-No Floppy Drive
-Warrenty over so no phone service
-No money to be ripped off by a Tech

-Compusa stole our CD that came with the computer and they went out of business
- I do have USB and flash drives

Is there anything i can do to clear out my BIOs and get my computer up and running again…

I returned a call to a business, credit card company, and I dialed the *67 before I dialed the 866 number and after a few minutes the guy knew what number I was calling from. What is the deal, I thought that *67 would block the caller ID? Maybe the credit card companies use a special phone system that lets them peak at the caller’s number anyway.

Does anyone have a better way to block the ID than *67 ?

I have Charter Communications phone service and I did wait for the second dial tone before dialing the full number. Maybe the Charter phone system make the *67 a moot point ?

I have to cancel my house phone, because my parents are out of the country. How do i check which phone service they are using?
