I am getting unwanted faxes. What is the address of the "don’t fax to" registry?
Oftenly, in telecom business the term "provisioning" is mentioned. Exactly, what does it refer to?
Hi, I’m new to this, but i am going around in ircles wondering what to do.
I am 24, I have two children who are 5 and 2, they are not my partner’s. i have been with my partner who is 22 for just over a year now(ive known him for 6), and the last year has been very stressful because we have had to move house so many times and had no money. But we have got through it and he loves the kids and vice versa.
he is a sound engineer and I am a session singer and also in a band as the lead singer that he works for. He also works in a theatre doing other shows.
A couple of months ago, he engineered a telent show and this girl was singing in it. By the look of things, they got on really well.
I has in hospital the previous two weeks before this and I’d had an operation so i wasn’t really in the mood to get intimate( i feel i should point this out). I noticed that she has added him to her facebook, and I mentioned to him that she works fast. Was she a good singer? He said No she was rubbish, nothing more than a seazy pub singer. I thought nothing of this until a couple of weeks later when i found a text from her on his phone, there were kisses on the end of it and she called him hun and said sorry i culdnt meet you last night.
I confronted him and asked how she got his number and he told me someone had put her in touch with him because she was thinking of buying a PA system. I told him i didnt like the way she spoke and would he just delete her number and tell her to stop flirting? he replied yes.
I forgot about this until a couple of weeks ago when i was using his phone and he said out of the blue, "if u have been through my phone numbers you will find ive saved al’s 2nd number(al is a mate from work), its his business mobile". i though hmm strange. then last week i saw the texts from this "al", and well i this guy definately doesnt put xxx and call him hunni, so i started getting really suspiciouse that he’d saved this girls number under "al".
The other day he’d left himself signed onto facebook(he’d changed his password a month or so ago), so i sneakily checked his messages.
There I found 19 messages, with my boyfriend telling her she’s so talented, would she sing in the band, calling her sexy, and would she meet up with him. i was devaststed. he told me she was chasing after him, but it was clearly the toher way round.
I confronted him the other day about it, and he lied about her right up to the point where i said you can stop lying because i found your facebook messages. he kept texting me to say he was sorry he made a mistake ut he didnt cheat.
I’ve agreed to sort things out with him but i cant get past the lies. He tells me he lied because he knew straightaway i didnt like her, bt he knows im not usually the jealous type, ive always let him have female friends, and have no prob with him engineering female singers.
I don’t know what to do. Every time i look at him i cant stop thinking about how he lied, and how he didnt think of me or the kids when he was texting her and messaging her. he’s deleted her number now and i’ve text her telling her to back off but what if this happens again?
Does anyone have any advice as to how I can dal with this problem? I have a weekend without the children this week so it’s my chance to get my head straight. I’m already very badly depressed, and it’s starting to send me over the edge. I don’t want to get out of bed in the morning, and I feel so ugly and crap. Why did my fella feel the need to go behind my back when i’ve completely trusted him for the last year, and worshipped the ground he walks on?
He calls me his princess, but right now I don’t feel like one. i feellike a damsel in distress.
Can anyone help?
x

In case things get a little tougher during the next few months, we In LOUISIANA, TEXAS , OKLAHOMA & ARKANSAS have a plan.
Maybe you don’t know it, but LOUISIANA , TEXAS , OKLAHOMA & ARKANSAS have a legal right to secede from the Union . (Reference the Texas/Louisiana-American Annexation Treaty of 1848.)
Us TEXOARKLANS love y’all Americans, but we’ll probably have to take action since Barack Obama won the election and is now the President of the U.S.A. We’ll miss ya’ll though.
Here is what can happen:
1. Barack Hussein Obama, after becoming the President of the United States , begins to try and create a socialist country, then TEXAS , LOUISIANA , ARKANSAS and OKLAHOMA announces that they are going to secede from the Union .
2. George W. Bush becomes the President of the Republic of TEXOARKLA . You might think that he doesn’t talk too pretty, but we haven’t had another terrorist attack and the economy was fine until the effects of Barney Frank and the Democrats lowering the qualifications for home loans came home to roost.
So what does TEXOARKLA have to do to survive as a Republic?
1. NASA is just south of Houston , Texas . We will control the space industry.
2. We refine over 90% of the gasoline in the United States .
3. Defense Industry–we have over 65% of it. The term "Don’t mess with TEXAS ," will take on a whole new meaning.
4. Oil - we can supply all the oil that the Republic of TEXOARKLA will need for the next 300 years. What will the other states do? Gee, we don’t know. Why not ask Obama?
5. Natural Gas - again, we have all we need and it’s too bad about those Northern States. John Kerry and Al Gore will just have to figure out a way to keep them warm…
6. Computer Industry - we lead the nation in producing computer chips and communications equipment - small companies like Texas Instruments, Dell Computer, EDS, Raytheon, National Semiconductor, Motorola, Intel, AMD, Nortel, Alcatel, etc. The list goes on and on.
7. Medical Care - We have the research centers for cancer research, the best burn centers and the top trauma units in the world, as well as other large health centers.
8. We have enough colleges to keep educating and making smarter citizens: University of Texas , Texas A&M, Texas Tech, University of Oklahoma , Oklahoma State University, UL-Lafayette, UL-Monroe, University of Arkansas , LSU, Arkansas State University , Baylor, Rice, TCU, SMU and MANY more.
9. We have an intelligent and energetic work force and it isn’t restricted by a bunch of unions. Here in TEXOARKLA, we are a Right-to-Work State and, therefore, it’s every man and woman for themselves. We just go out and get the job done.. And if we don’t like the way one company operates, we get a job somewhere else.
10. We have essential control of the paper, plastics, and insurance industries, etc.
11. In case of a foreign invasion, we have the TEXOARKLA National Guard, the TEXOARKLA Air National Guard, and several military bases. We don’t have an Army, but since everybody down here has at least six guns and a pile of ammo, we can raise an Army in 24 hours if we need one. If the situation really gets bad, we can always call the Department of Public Safety and ask them to send over the Texas Rangers.
12. We are totally self-sufficient in beef, poultry, hogs, and several types of grain, fruit and vegetables and let’s not forget seafood from the Gulf. Also, everybody down here knows how to cook them so that they taste good. We don’t need any food from somewhere else.
13. FIVE of the ten largest cities in the United States and THIRTY TWO of the 100 largest cities in the United States are located in TEXOARKLA. And TEXOARKLA also has more land than California , New York , New Jersey , Connecticut , Delaware , Hawaii , Massachusetts , Maryland , Rhode Island and Vermont combined.
14. Trade: FIVE of the ten largest ports in the United States are located in TEXOARKLA.
15. We also manufacture cars down here, but we don’t need to. You see, nothing rusts in TEXOARKLA so our vehicles stay beautiful and run well for decades.
This just names a few of the items that will keep the Republic of TEXOARKLA in good shape. There isn’t a thing out there that we need and don’t have.
Now to the rest of you folks in the United States under President Obama:
Since you won’t have the refineries to get gas for your cars, only President Obama will be able to drive around in his big 9 mpg SUV. The rest of the United States will have to walk or ride bikes.
You won’t have any TV as the Space Center in Houston will cut off satellite communications.
You won’t have any natural gas to heat your homes, but since Al Gore has predicted global warming, you will not need the gas as long as you survive the 2000 years it will take to get enough heat from Global Warming.
In other words, the rest of ya’ll in the USA are screwed!

I am trying to do as much housecleaning as possible on my pc and remove as many unwanted programs as possible by going into control panel then remove programs…I was getting a lot done but then I got down into the "M’s" and there are about 25 different entries or places one after another of programs titled "Microsoft .Net Framework" then there are sub headings that can be removed that are titled things like "winforms", "Dr. Watson", and many other names that mean nothing to me. What are these programs?
There are 3 service packs and each one includes several sub programs under the heading of the different service packs…this is where that "Dr. Watson" one is located.
I have tried to understand this question using google but it reads like greek to me. I cannot find a computer layman’s terms answer for what are these for and can I remove any or most of them?
I ESPECIALLY would like to know about this strange name of Microsoft .Net framework service pack program called "Dr. Watson"…what does it do…what is it for? in layman’s terms please…..what will happen if I remove it?
I am running Windows XP and I love it..
Thank you very much for your time as I have always gotten good information from Yahoo Answers and I enjoy this forum very much. "A world of info at my fingertips"..
I have found that the Dr. Watson is a tool that gathers debugging information or something like that…Do I need it? Do I need all of these .Net Framework programs?
I Googled Microsoft .Net Framework and got this answer;
The Microsoft .NET Framework is a software framework that can be installed on computers running Microsoft Windows operating systems. It includes a large library of coded solutions to common programming problems and a virtual machine that manages the execution of programs written specifically for the framework. The .NET Framework is a Microsoft offering and is intended to be used by most new applications created for the Windows platform.
The framework’s Base Class Library provides a large range of features including user interface, data access, database connectivity, cryptography, web application development, numeric algorithms, and network communications. The class library is used by programmers, who combine it with their own code to produce applications.
Programs written for the .NET Framework execute in a software environment that manages the program’s runtime requirements. Also part of the .NET Framework, this runtime environment is known as the Common Language Runtime (CLR). The CLR provides the appearance of an application virtual machine so that programmers need not consider the capabilities of the specific CPU that will execute the program. The CLR also provides other important services such as security, memory management, and exception handling. The class library and the CLR together constitute the .NET Framework.
Version 3.0 of the .NET Framework is included with Windows Server 2008, Windows Vista, and Windows 7. The current stable version of the framework, which is 3.5, can also be installed on Windows XP and the Windows Server 2003 family of operating systems.[2] Version 4 of the framework was released as a public beta on 20 May 2009.[3]
The .NET Framework family also includes two versions for mobile or embedded device use. A smaller version of the framework, the .NET Compact Framework, is available on Windows CE platforms, including Windows Mobile devices such as smartphones. Additionally, the .NET Micro Framework is targeted at severely resource constrained devices.
Does anyone know of software that can help me?
I have a small International shipping company it is not a "to door service" we have 6 locations here in the US and 8 locations in Mexico. here is the way it works: a customers walk in to one of our locations here in the US and sends a package to one of our locations in Mexico for the recipient to pick up. what I need is software that can produce a barcode that contains info about the package (recipient, sender, weight etc.) and be able to scan packages in to our different checkpoints along the way until it reaches one the end location where its going to be picked up. Every time it reaches a checkpoint it is log in to the software so we can keep track of where it is in real time until its picked up by the recipient then it gets log as received.
I have researched for days and found many programs that are design for much bigger companies. they have too many futures that i don’t need and are too expensive. I need a simple package tracking software

I own a number of stocks, mutual funds, and ETFs through Schwab, which I follow on Schwab’s website. But I’d like to get a more sophisticated tool, something that allows me to download price and volume data onto my own computer, so I can generate lots of charts and do a bit of technical analysis. I’m definitely not a day trader, but I’d like to do more of the "buy and hold for a few weeks then sell" style of trading. Plus, it would be useful to keep tabs on my various buys and sells, so I can easily compute how much profit or loss I’ve made on a given position. I’ve done things like buy 1000 shares of XYZ, then later sell 300 shares of XYZ, then later buy 200 shares of XYZ. Can anyone recommend a good software tool for this? I don’t mind paying for it, if it fits my needs.
schedule (and his "to-do’s") and your own personal life (i.e. payment schedules, phone calls, events, etc.) This is my first year in management and I’ve done "ok" thus far. With the growth of the company, more and more challenges arise. I need to be ale to keep on top of every task and not "drop the ball" is there some special software you use to keep it all in line. Paper and pencil aren’t cutting it any longer, I find it difficult to follow through in Outlook as it really doesn’t have a good way of looking at everything in one big picture. (I hope you understand what I mean by this)
Your opinions are valued. Thank you for your time.
For the love of God…anyone?
How can I find the driver setup for these cards? 2Wire says that they only give the software to the carriers (ATT) and I’m not an ATT customer. Windows is looking for a driver for "Wireless USB Card" and says that it can not find it. The card is made by USI and sold to Avaya and 2wire. Avaya drivers will not load. I’ve tried modifing the INF file but that doesn’t seem to work. Any suggestions?
Dr. Nortel, the biology teacher, called on Nancy, "Can you tell me the part of the body that, under the right conditions, expands to six times it`s normal size, and state the conditions."
Nancy gasped and said in a huff, "Why, Sir ? That is an inappropriate question and my parents are going to hear of it when I get home!" She sat down, red-faced.
"Susie, can you tell me the answer?" asked Dr. Nortel.
"The pupil of the eye, under dark conditions" said Dr. Nortel.
"Correct. Now Nancy, I have three things to say to you. First, you have not studied your lesson. Second, you have a dirty mind. And third, you are going to be disappointed someday!"
Just curious, we have a little office space, but are using cell phones - haven’t hooked up a phone line. I want to get the "Mace Wireless Home Security System" from Walmart, but do I need a phone line for that to work? It dials numbers so I’m assuming it has to be connected to a phone line. Just wondering because I can’t buy it from the store, so I need to know ahead of time if I’m in for making another bill for phone service.
