Yesterday my Vista Internet Security kept coming up with little ‘bubbles’ from the icon with titles like System Hijack! Tracking Software Found! and Security Threat!
But when I scanned my computer it listed about 25 files that were infected. I pressed the remove all button to remove the viruses, but it told me I had to download & purchase the full version!

So instead I re-downloaded my free AVG scanner and it detected a few viruses but nothing else. But my Vista Internet Security still continues to give me these warnings. I also had a blue screen yesterday which caused my laptop to switch itself off and restart. Thats when the warnings for this tracking software started.

How do I get rid of this virus without having to purchase any software?!

Additional Details: I have a Inspiron 1525.

Business Card Scanning – Does anyone know to use use a regular scanner with special software to scan business cards? I don’t understand why I need to buy yet another scanner just for business cards.
Obviously, I need to clarify my question. Business cards need to be scanned to be imported into Outlook or other PIMs.

I already have a scanner and a ton of business cards. I do NOT want to buy a business card reader but instead use my existing scanner. I want the software to organize the info into some type of database, also I want to be able to use it across our network in the office. Anything you recommend?

Hi I need to find a way to organize my checks, I have about 100 repeat customers that we service every month, I use quickboks ro, however at times i forget to post a check on quickbooks, so then I go back to my stack of check copies and look for the customers payment, it becomes a pain because I have to go through so many sheets of paper to find payments, anyway I do have a scanner which some tell me to do a file for each customer on my computer , is there any software that i can scan the checks too? thanks in advance

How do I remove Nortel Antivirus from my PC?

I need some help. I got infected with Nortel Antivirus recently and I can’t seem to get rid of it. I’ve tried everything I know to do but none of it has worked. The fake alerts are so annoying and whenever its fake scanner starts it slows my computer way down. Can someone give me a little advice?
