I have had my iPod mini for a year and four months before it stopped working. Whenever I turn it on and press play for a song, the screen and system freeze before the song starts. After the system freezes, the iPod won’t turn off, so I must wait for the battery to die out. I have tried restoring the software/resetting it several times, but the problem is still there. Plus, now I can’t add new music directly from iTunes to my iPod. I have to sync the music before loading it.

Does anyone have any answers? Anything is appreciated! I’m not spending to call technical support for sure.

I’ve used TrendMicro very happily for several years. Always caught any viruses or suspect malware and alerted me. Suddenly a few days ago I noticed the scheduled scans were not running and the icon indicating that the program had loaded in the background was missing. I tried to do a manual scan and a manual update but both result in a message that says, "Please wait for the feature to finish loading before you try again." Then nothing happens. I was able to go to their website and download the latest update. One scan was successful at finding a trojan horse virus which was quarantined. But after a shut down and restart the same problem occurred. I have tried to call their technical support phone line and log in to their on-line live chat support several times but they seem to be unavailable.

Is something changed at the company?

Avaya phone system programming?

We just bought a new small business phone system. We only one private office, and need to be able to answer all calls at any phone, have all call ring through to all phones and ring several times, only one phone will have voice mail. We need to be able to switch phones easy and have the call follow. Right now when we get an incomming call it goes strait to "Sorry your party can’t be reached right now" I looked it up and It sounded like abreviated ringing so I deactivated that on all extensions, but it still does it. What are the best programing setup for us? What settings should we set? How can we get incoming calls to ring through?

Indications:

knocks on the window late at night; silhouette seen twice; noise of someone moving in the yard; back light on upper balcony behind driveway lights up for no reason several times; banging on windows downstairs when I sit at the computer; only happens after 10 p.m. when I am alone at the desk; balcony is located by window to computer room; strange anonymous phone calls and one weird message with heavy breathing; keys went missing and were found in door later the next day (nobody was around and I had a bad feeling when someone knocked. I waited a few minutes in the kitchen, again alone, and went over to the upstairs bedroom, there was noone outside and no keys, then later the keys were in the door); door unlocked after I locked it one night; homeless man appeared last summer in backyard and have seen him twice around railroad tracks; once he tried to follow me; cars lurking in neighborhood area for no reason; also, there were reports of assaults and other incidents here.
People who ignore this or recommend ignoring it are stupid. Yes, we are thinkin of leaving town anyway, though hopefully not for at least two weeks. We have to housesit and I will give two week’s notice if we get the job offer we want. We want to work up North anyway, it’s good money and we’ll come back and stay with relatives and have our car and take part-time jobs in the summer and we’ll have money eight months from now. This is not the reason but this, amongst other things, has hastened us to leave in the next two to four weeks since we were planning on leaving. Other stuff in the area as well.
