yeah the question says it all. my tmobile phone is broken and instead of buying a new phone at full price could i just buy a tmobile prepaid phone and put my sim card instead of the one that comes with it?

I had a tracfone that fell and broke. I can not turn it back on and retreive my phone numbers to move them to the new phone. I tried moving the sim card over to the new phone, but the new one doesn’t register the old sim card. Is there any way to retreive the numbers from the old phone that doesn’t power up by putting the old sim card in the new phone and unlocking somehow? Thanks!

I got the iPhone 3g in May 2009, and then my dad got the iPhone 3gs. He recently got upgraded to the iPhone 4 and so gave me his old iPhone3gs. I have a new sim card and none of my contacts are on it. I need to know how I get my contacts from the iPhone 3g onto the sim so that i can import them onto the iPhone 3gs. Thanks.

I have a sim card and all I need is a phone. Are there any phone companies that sell unlocked phones for a cheap price and without contract? I do not not want to jailbreak an iPhone or anything like that. Just want to buy one.

i cant seem to know where to put the sim card or work the phone system built in the merc c230 kompressor (2005 model). i can see that it has Phone dialing pad built in the radio, but i cant tell how to make it work! HELP PLEASE!

What is a WDMA network and a 3G network for a phone? I’m looking to buy a phone off of Ebay and it says "This phone will not work with a WDMA network or a 3G network." How can I check if my sim card is one of these networks?

I left my mobile phone on, connected to a charger without sim card for 1 month by accident. Has is damaged the circuit system or ant other components? but the phone works well.

I just moved from Minnesota to Australia (for 6 months) so obviously I don’t wanna pay the ridiculous fees for international service & roaming. So is there a way in the settings to turn off the service and just use the iphone for wifi/music/games? I know some guys down here have purchased a SIM card for and it allowed them to operate the phone without service, but is that my best option?

First of all I am from New Zealand if that helps in relation to the cellphone networks.

I am looking to buy a new phone online and the seller says the phone will work on both Vodafone and 2 Degrees networks but they are not sure if it will work on Telecom. If I put a Telecom XT sim card into this phone would it work? Or is it different to the other networks?
The cellphone will either be a Nokia 7370 or Nokia 7373.

my company is giving me a nextel blackberry 7520. but its too big and bulky. im interested in buying the new 8350i, but dont want too unless i can put the sim card from the business phone into the new one.
