I recently switched service providers but I can’t get my SIM card to work in the phone (SIEMENS C65). The screen just says ‘phone disabled!
NETWORK LOCK’
Does anyone have an idea?
Thanks.

I currently have cell phone service (not prepaid) and would like to upgrade to a different phone; I live outside of the US and it is somewhat of a hassle to upgrade to a new phone. I was wandering if it is possible to purchase a prepaid cell phone, unlock it and use it with my current sim card and monthly service?
Thanks for your help!

Any information on how you can take a U.S. Droid phone and receive a SIM card/other service connection when traveling to Philippines?

I don’t use the mobile-to-mobile function so its not a big deal to use that.
But I need a list or something of phones I can use.
Like just pop in the boost sim card.

I have an account with them but my old phone died so I ordered one off eBay. I just want my number switched over (I don’t have a sim card in my existing phone) and there aren’t any stores around my college. Can I just call a number to get the service transferred?

Tracfone sim card will not work with any other phone unfortunately. This is due to the software meant for this sim card, it is meant to track the minutes, so the sim will not work.

I’m in Canada right now and will be going to Bangkok soon. I have a Samsung cell phone and was wondering if I can bring it and use it in Thailand like I do here. I know that I have to get a new Thai SIM card. But do they have the same cell phone system (e.g. GSM, CDMA, etc.)? I think Canada uses the GSM system – what about Thailand?

I am using Malaysia 3G Maxis Broadband service, it uses a HuaWei USB Modem, with a Sim card connected to my computer. They have this rubbish something called fair usage policy to block their customers using P2P softwares and Bit Torrent. This made my life sucks. Please help me how should I do to use P2P, or is there any software to use that enable me to download BT. Thanks

I get 200 text messages a month, but mid way into the month i switched phones. But, I still have the same sim card. Do the # of text messages that i hd on my old phone count? Because when I went onto the at&t website it only counted the messages on my new phone. I just don’t want to go over by too much.
