Best Buy Reward Zone said I was about 450 points shy of Silver Status (2500 pt total). I decided to achieve the status by making more purchases. I spent the money to get the points, knowing it takes 35 days for the points to post after the purchase(s) so they would post before new year. Now the points are still pending after 2 months when they say it takes approx 35 business days. It is Jan 1, 2010 and my point balance is 0pts (wiped because of new fiscal year, but if they would have given me silver status these points would have carried over) and I have no Silver Status!!! I’ve been on and off the phone with them and about a month ago they assured me I made Silver Status and that I’d get something in the mail in two weeks, but now that it is a month later I have not recieved anythng and they deny having said that although I have case #’s for these conversations with them. Furthermore they are telling me Silver Status is removed after one year if you do not make 00 in purchases, but no where on their site does it say you must spend EVERY year to maintain that status, or that you will lose it if you do not. I even spoke to a supervisor who could not show me where on the website it says this.
Basically I was told I was ‘x’ amount shy of this status which had me go out and spend, then because of some glitch in their system (that’s what they called it) my points are not posting or lost! Their misleading me had me spend more money than I would have to attain something they are not giving me because they don’t know how to maintain their records or computer systems!
Given the problems at hand and the grief I’ve been through; does it seem just to pursue legal justice in this matter?

I got hired on online job. I had the interview over yahoo messanger. also, i had to buy softwares in order to start working. so the supervisor sent me money for the softwares. there were too much of money so I had to send them back. when i had to cash them, one of them was half cashed. i cashed them in different banks though. maybe it’s Wells Fargo who did a mistake with a check? and after that, I was wondering, is this job a scam? I also told my supervisor about what happened and he said he will call the account department… what do you think? is it a scam or not?
and i got two checks…

Where I work we use an Av-Tech system where the phone and radios are integrated into a touchscreen computer. I was on one of the lines talking to a co-worker from another department on a business related call that turned private when another co-worker of mine alerted me to the fact that my supervisor was listening in on the call. The call was not about any topic that violated any HR policies but I feel that even if there is no rules against it I do think that it is extremely unethical.

and ask to speak to a Supervisor, if you talk to the regular customer service rep they wont be able to do a thing. If the Supervisor refuses simply tell them that if they dont you will sue them for improper disclosure, you see the government requires them to disclose all their fees to you but when you open the account they hide them and dont disclose them to you. Call them at 1-800-432-1000 and tell this.
You know they make billions a year in overdraft fees?

Several female reps have been lying to their supervisor about their reasons for taking family leave. Possible violation of federal law. What steps are you going to take to curb this practice?
Your boss has asked for a Department Report on call center problems and possible solutions. As the new VP, you will make a presentation to management stating the problems, possible causes and offered solutions. Approved new policies will go in to effect the following week.
