Hi all,
My friend who lives overseas wants me to help him purchase goods (used phones, gaming systems etc.) and ship them to him. He will be paying me a monthly salary for my part. He wants me to open up a bank account so he can deposit money for me to help him purchase goods. The amount each month is in the 5 figures range. So my question is whether I need any sort of license or permit? I won’t be selling anything, just offering him a service where I purchase and ship his goods. If such a large amount of money is deposited each month, how would I go about with the IRS and taxes. I reside in California by the way. Thanks in advance for the help!

Hi i own an electronics repair store that specializes in cell phones and gaming systems, and we just opened about a month ago, and business is been doing pretty good, but i would like 2 things to really get in gear and investor and a guy who is great with software and electronic savvy, the only thing is we’re so new even if i could show how profitable my concept is they would still be hesitant so I’m not holding my breath, but i would really like the software guy, only problem is we’re not to the point were we have that kind of money for payroll. so my question so I look for someone and offer them a partnership? or should i just keep doing what I’m doing and wait until we have the money to hire someone? I just want to get my concept up and going in full swing and I wanna get there before the competition does. any advice is appreciated. thanks in advance.

I urgently require a customer software package but am totally unsure where to go and what to buy! I have a customer base building and require the software to hold such data as name, address, email address, contact numbers. Furthermore, I need it to sort account numbers. The business has customers ordering items via phone, and this is possibly the most important aspect. My ideal would be for me to take a call, for the customer to quote their account number, and then for me to simply enter this, or any other detail about them for their account to be accessed. I would then merely wish to be able to create an order there and then. The customer telling me what items they desire, and me clicking on an item and then entering the quantity. I know this is out there somewhere and ask you kind people to point me in the right direction. Many thanks in advance of your help.

I actually never lost a signal with my Linksys G router. However, now I have multiple computers (3) one in my basement, and 2 on the second floor. When I had one, the internet was swift and good signal. Now, the signal is good, losses 1-2 bars in the basement, BUT the speed is bogged down. Should I finally upgrade to those long range wireless N network routers if I have multiple computers?
Thanks in advance.
Thanks guys, I should probably upgrade

I am planning to buy a new headset. Do you know any excellent product/model/brand that is suitable for transcription use? And how much is the price?
Thanks in advance for all your answers.

I turned in a lot of applications at clothing stores at the mall. I’m trying to get my first job. I’m wondering, would it be a good idea to call them back and ask if they had a chance to look at my application yet? And should I talk to whoever answers the phone or ask for some one else? And would it be a bad idea to ask if I could change my availability on my application?
Thanks in advance!

I don’t mind buying a higher end headset if the sound quality is good and the devices are compatible. But I’m having trouble getting good recommendations. If you make a recommendation, please let me know if you have used the device personally or if you’re relying on word of mouth or a review. Thanks in advance for your help and expertise!

Hi,
I wanna buy a gaming headset but its really expensive for me. Then I stumbled upon conference headsets– much cheaper. So, I was wondering if there are any differences between the two– headset for gaming and headset for conference calls.
Thanks in advance!

Do you have to bring in your phone to a Cingular store so they make sure you haven’t already broken it before trying to get a new one? I’m guessing you do but I wanna make sure.
Also, if I "break" my phone, do I need to bring in my phone to the Cingular store if I report it broken to get a new one? It’s to get a new one right?
Oh and almost forgot, can you instead kinda like put credit towards getting a newer, better phone? I doubt you can but I don’t know what Cingular’s rules are on that so yeah…
Thanks in advance.

I’m moving to Windsor in a few weeks, and I hear horror stories from every company out there. Could they all be true? I haven’t heard great things from Rogers, Bell, or Cogeco. Are one of these companies actually great? Or, is there another company out there that does better? Should I not get a package and just find separate providers for phone, internet, and television?
Thanks in advance!
