Will someone with Alltel prepaid (and regular) cell phones still be able to use them when Verizon takes over Alltel at the end of the year?

My brother is using an old flip phone that his job had given all of its employees through Verizon Wireless. He wants to activate my old LG ENV3 phone and use that instead. When I dialed *228, it asks for the last 4 digits of the social security number on the account. Since this is a business phone we do not have this information. Is there any way to activate an old cell phone under a business account?
I have a lg vx5200 and just got an enV which I haven’t activated yet. I know that verizon transfers contacts to new phones but will they transfer photos too? Or at least forward them to pixplace or an email?
I have over 100 pictures and really don’t want to have to send them one by one so please don’t suggest that.

thanks for the additional help, however what is my best option to get more VOIP lines working at once? Running two dsl lines into the business? I am trying to keep the cost down however we could always just get normal phone service from verizon. A further help would be great thanks

My current phone is breaking apart so I am buying a new used phone. Verizon will transfer my new number and current service to the new used phone, but what kind of information do they need? I assume that whoever sells me the phone (off of craigslist or ebay most likely) will also need to give me the serial number of that phone. What other information about the phone do I need to make sure the seller has?
I recently lost my Verizon wireless Samsung sch-a950 phone, and can’t seem to find it. I just remembered messing with the system setting of the phone, and seeing some sort of GPS locator device on it. I was wondering how I would be able to activate that in order to help me find my phone. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks
I live in a big house (8000+ square feet) and I keep going through phone systems on average 6 months. I have gone through Motorola, VTech, and a couple others recently. The phones cannot seem to reach the home base from the upstairs. I have decided to get much more durable phones that have a full intercom system like at an office. I would need to buy roughly 10-15 phones for the system. It needs to work from the kitchen to 8000 feet away in the bedroom behind 2-3 walls. There are not phone jacks everywhere where there needs to be a phone, and that has been a problem. There are still many phone jacks. I do not know if this makes a difference, but there is no ethernet in my house, just Wi-Fi. I use AT&T home service and not an online service or Verizon. I want something not too expensive, but will last at least 5 years. I would also like to have the option of sending a message through the intercom to one person or a select group of persons. i JUST bought a blackberry curve today but HATE having to pay an additional a month for internet. i also need something a little more durable maybe a touch screen? it seems like dirt can easily get into the blackberry’s buttons. i am really up in the air with what i want so anything would be great help. i have verizon. thanks!
We have sprint right and our contract is over in october. Right now im interested in the New Lg chocolate from verizon. Is that a good phone. I like it because it has a music player and a camera and camcorder and its only . Anyway is there any site that shows future phones?
