My father passed away recently, and he left behind a smart phone on the same plan as me. My question is: Can you switch a smart phone (with his number on it) and swap it for mine (a regular phone) so therefore I would have the phone that he had with all the same benefits he was paying for?
I wanted to know this before I made the trip to Verizon myself.

I am looking into Vonage as my cell phone replacement where I can take it anywhere and use anywhere an internet connection is available – planning on switching from Verizon cell phone and using Vonage for main work phone and Net10 as prepaid cell out on calls. The one my husband has (Samsung Facinate) is heat sensitive touch screen – he uses the pads of his fingers and I don’t like that aspect about it. Does Verizon Wireless carry a NEW Smartphone that I can use my nails to tap at?

I have Verizon wireless for my cell phone. My house is down in a hill and there are lots of trees so I can’t talk to people when I’m in my house. I have to run to the top of the driveway. Is there anything I can get that will make the service better so I can talk in my house?

Ok so I am currently in Mexico and i want to call my boyfriend in the states. He has a verizon phone. I emailed Verizon about my question but they only answered one half. I get that it will cost him if i call him during the day but what if i call him after 9PM or on weekends? Will it still cost him then? I really need to know soon. I have unlimited skpye calling.

I’ve had an LG enV touch for about two years but the screen is going dark, keeps shutting off, etc. My contract for Verizon is up in December and I do not want to extend it. I have a different version of the enV that someone’s no longer using and is restored to original settings. Will Verizon be able to switch my current number and plan to this phone?

I have two phones, my old one and my new one. The Samsung SCH-A930 and the LG Dare. I switched from the Samsung to the LG and love it. But I’d prefer to use the old one for work since my job could rough up my new phone. Is there anyway that I could switch service back to the old one for a little and then back to the new one? They’re both CDMA phones and my service is Verizon.

I have a Verizon Env and i want the voyager. I bought the voyager off someone and now i want to activate it. I also dont want to pay a activation fee so how do i go about doing that. I went on Verizon’s website online and it is asking for order numbers and location codes which i do not have. Should i just call them?

We got Droids (Verizon) about 2 months ago and we find that many calls do not go through. Don’t remember poor reception on the old flip phones.
Has anyone seen less reception with a smart phone?
