I need do a basic configuration of 2 gateways (analog+gsm),skype
I may not do complicated rules on calls. Just a group of 3 users using softphones and exit calls rules (mobile calls made from gsm, landline calls from pstn analog, voip calls from voip)

I have a DSL connection (1.5M) with VOIP and I also have a WIFI router. When my wife is talking on the phone and I am browsing the internet simultaneously, there are dead spots in the telephone signal. I have a DECT 6.0 cordless phone, which isn’t suppose to interfere with the WIFI.
So, before I buy more bandwidth, does it sound like I am out of bandwidth or is there some other culprit?

I have always been able to forward my office phone calls to my Blackberry or iPhone because the phone company has call forwarding. But a business land line is different from VOIP. If I were to get VOIP phone service, which is through the internet, can those calls be forwarded to my Blackberry or iPhone?

I’m not clear on what is free and what you have to pay for. Can I use Skype or some other VoIP to make a free call from my computer to another computer? If so, when I see the fee for monthly service, is that for calling people on their regular phone line?

I know that in VOIP you can have maximum 5 numbers of 5 different countries and VOIP calls within India is not allowed. But what if someone from outside India gets a Indian number ,say city Delhi’s number and use that number to call his friend in Delhi(landline/mobile) pretending as if he is in Delhi. Is this possible?

Are prepaid mobile phone numbers portable to other mobile plans and/or traditional phone lines or VOIP?
Basically, can I signup for a prepaid plan from ATT/Cingular, T-mobile, Verizon/Alltel to use the phone number until I get an office line setup, and then transfer that number to a permanent land line?
