tracking down private calls!?

oh my gosh i just hate private calls! and i was just wondering what if i received a private call from someone in california or washington a whole new different state. would police be able to track that call,person,or house down? any of those? i need to know! i live in texas.

yes the police will b able to track down the number, then the person thats owns that number, and wen they know who the person is they can check out where their house is. it doesnt matter if its in another state. hope i helped!!!!!!!!!!!
p.s i hate private calls too
