If it is truly software, type "Realtek" in the search box but…
Realtek is usually either sound or ethernet hardware… The only software that it would come with is drivers. If you are having trouble with drivers right click on "Computer" select "Manage" and go to "Device Manager", then find your "Realtek" audio or internet hardware, or anything that has a caution icon beside it, right click it and select "Update Driver".
Assuming you have internet, allow it to update automatically.
If this does not work, try searching the device name with the caution icon beside it(in device manager) on the Realtek website download page:
http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/
Hope this helps,
Daniel
Realtek is just an audio driver you would never need to open it.
Have a look in My Computer, C:\ Drive & Program File’s.
If it’s not in there, it isn’t installed.
Do a search for it…
On the start menu if you have vista there is that little search bar… search there…
If that doesn’t work
go to computer-> then go to the search bar there in the top right hand corner…
I hoped i helped:]
its an audio driver, you probably recognize the name from when you were doing computer set up.
That’s really your sound card driver. I know what your talking about though there youse to be a little program that let you play around with sound effects. But not really necessary there are other programs that surpass that program.
its the audio driver
u can find it in C:\WINDOWS most probably.
do not mess up with that application, u may loose your sound in your system.
