Sadly, there ARE people that are stupid enough to gamble away 62K in one night, but this person didn’t do it.
Do you really think she would have just called up her parents, told them what happened, and then expect them to give her another 60K?

If this isn’t a made up story and you are telling the truth, then you have set the standard for all other idiots to aspire to. You probably couldn’t have done anything more stupid if you actually had a plan to do something stupid. Your friend Betsy needs her sorry ass kicked for taking you to the casino, right after she has apologised on bended knees to your parents for taking you there. Then you should get someone to kick your pathetic ass up and down the street for a few hours for being a selfish, foolish, immature, spoilt bee-yatch. Can you even begin to imagine how much you have betrayed your parent’s trust? I know people who would have to work 40 hours a week for a few YEARS to earn 60,000 dollars and you threw it all away in ONE NIGHT. With your self-centred attitude you don’t deserve any understanding or sympathy. Get your act together and spend the rest of your life working towards understanding the pain and disappointment you have caused the people who loved you and cared enough about you to actually risk investing in your future. You really are a total doorknob.
Debit cards usually have a daily limit of cash programmed in just in case you lose your card or someone steals it. I don’t believe you were able to withdraw that much money from your bank through your debit card in 24 hours. But who am I to call you a liar?
It took you to age 27 to earn a GED? You were offended your parents accused you of wasting your life? Well…believe it or not, I agree with you. At age 27 it is a tad too late for you parents to be so sanctimonious. They should have kicked you into gear much sooner like at age 19. But, I digress.
So, to the matter at hand.
I don’t think you are aware of the following: Casinos are built on the backs of people who lose money. All casinos games including slots favor the house. Unless you cheat, you can’t win over the long run. Nobody can win over the long run. Now you know that.
Perhaps you can compromise. Let mom and dad pay the college directly. You can get a job to support yourself. That I believe is a fair compromise.
