I worked for a major telecommunications corporation where I started in Customer Service. You get your foot in the door, and you make a decent wage while doing it. Cheapo internships are for those who are independently wealthy. For those of us who don’t have Daddy paying all the bills, some hard knocks in Customer Service just might be the ticket. With my education and strong work ethic, I moved from Customer Service Specialist to Senior Representative to Team Lead (Asst. Supervisor) to Asst. Retail Store Manager.
Today I am a successful Store Manager with another company after years of service with the initial company. It is not what I would’ve planned, but I wouldn’t change it for the world. Some hard work can take you a long way. Good luck in your adventure!
Sidebar: you have to be flexible, work weird schedules and willing to move.
Telemarkiting calls to Mexico city during dinner.
you could work for Univision or Telemundo…
Maybe spanish radio.
pretty much anything you want in Florida
